Yes, but it's tricky to run Kaleidoscope inside Reason without audio dropouts. The trick is to disable multi-core audio rendering.

Re: (Drone) Disquiet Night
Thank you! I used Izotope Iris and 2CAudio Kaleidoscope in serial to produce the sound and some Reason FX afterwards.CaliforniaBurrito wrote: ↑26 Dec 2017I like the suspense and there is enough going on to maintain interest throughout. Care to share the process?

I use the Waves TG12345 for stereo widening and for some EQing too.

Re: Should I get Reaktor (I own Reason 9.5) ?
The name says it all... I love Reason, but I think you can do a lot more with Reaktor. The learning curve for building your own synths in Reaktor seems to be a lot higher than anything in Reason, but I am pretty sure you can do almost anything synth-wise. Advice? Reaktor has a huge user library htt...

Re: Chorus / Flanger
a chorus needs at least 2 nearly identical signals that are a bit detuned to each other
a vibrato is nothing more than periodically detuning a signal
in send mode you get the dry and the wet signal, that are 2 signals that build up the chorus effect
in insert mode you only get the wet signal

Re: Any Sampler REs in the making?
For me, a good sampler is as good as the libraries (no samples, no sound). And for NN-XT there's a whole lot of great stuff out there. On the other hand if you want to sample yourself, grab what fits best for you. I took a look at UVI Falcon with its fantastic timestretch and grain capabilities. The...

Re: Why Reason?
#1 Reason runs stable. #2 I can freely route signal-paths and CV-cables. #3 Best audio timestretch & pitchshift. #4 The only DAW supporting RE & VST side by side. #5 Reason is a pleasure to my eyes. ... Have I mentioned the mixer? You can control it easily with the Console 1 controller. And Blocks! ...

(Ambient) NGC 3603
NGC 3603 is a nebula situated in the Carina spiral arm of the Milky Way around 20,000 light-years away from our solar system. It is the most massive visible cloud of glowing gas and plasma in the Milky Way. The central star cluster is the densest concentration of very massive stars known in the gala...

Re: Parsec 2 - Worth the upgrade from Parsec 1?
I upgraded to Parsec 2 and I would not do it again. Additive synthesis, compared to wavetable synthesis, has it's magic in detuning overtones. And that's already covered in Parsec 1.
