Dragging Clips Out Of Reason
Hi! Reason should have the ability of dragging a midi clip, one box for instance, straight out of the Reason sequencer and onto the desktop. Just something I discovered I wanted to do. I wanted to use an 8 bar midi clip in another DAW to access sounds using a VST instrument, and I always have to (if...

Re: MY Feature Request :-)
Moving entire loop bars No need to always move the left and right loop indicators if we could simply highlight loop regions and move them! moving entire loop bar.png TO BE CONTINUED..... Pjeudy, Are you talking about getting rid of the left / right locators, or as well as? both would be great.

2. Renaming Labels. Why do we need to: 1.right click 2. remove labels 3.then right click again to rename  Why not an edit label ? I might just want to add some text to a whole sequence Remove labels from clicp.jpg I don't... I Just doubleclick on the label itself, it opens an edit box ;) Sam...

Do You Get Replies From Propellerhead?
Hi All! Do people here get replies from Propellerheads when you mail them? I get an e-mail saying:- "Thanks for contacting Propellerhead Software support. Your e-mail has been received, and we'll get back to you as soon as we can. While you're waiting for a reply, you might want to check out the sup...

Re: Wish List
Why bother with these wish lists anymore? I have emailed the same requests for years as have many of us, yet they choose to trickle out lame upgrades and act like we should be so honored to finally get old features compared to other DAWs. PH doesn't do enough to deserve another $130 a year or whene...

Yeah there is about 80 features be honest. What I listed was about a quarter of what's needed. We'll be waiting till at least Reason 10 me thinks for them all.

Re: What Features others DAWs has and Reason Does not have?
There are lots of features that don't necessarily make your tracks sound better but are needed for workflow and to save time etc that Reason would benefit from having. Let's not focus entirely on better music making things and forget that we also need things that save time, save your file (like auto...

I'm not sure what you guys are referring to. Can someone post a screen shot of said part of the mixer to demonstrate. So the part where your track is labelled is a bit taller as well?

'Cause when I've used Unison, it somehow doesn't sound right. I don't know. Maybe when I get home I will try and post a couple of examples and show you.
I could use the multi-oscialltor on Thor but that doesn't help me with a Subtractor patch lol!

Lol! Exwilderbeast.
I haven't really needed to EQ down that low, just thought it strange it didn't cover the whole 20/20 range and thought at some point sooner or later it would be needed.

Re: Morphing Sounds
What I should have said too is, that the non kick sound will be a one tone sound and obviously the kick a non tonal sound. The other sound is gonna be a sound effect. I can't use Thor either, as the kick won't be the desired kick using that, and the other sound will be a sample probably. Probably bo...

Morphing Sounds
Hi! Does anyone know of a way of morphing sounds. I have an idea of a single shot sound, that over 8 bars, morphs into a kick drum. Is this possible? is there any kind of software to do this or would this take extreme skill? The sound is going to be a 4 on the floor sound that morphs into a 4 on the...

I also wish the mixer's spectrum analyzer wasn't so delayed to respond. It's hard to get a true representation in real time. And I wish it had more frequency points. So there is latency on the Spectrum EQ? not noticed but still a relative novice at actually reading one to be fair. I also noticed th...

There's probably about 60 things we need in Reason be honest. We'll be waiting till Reason 10 for all of them (probably). I'm stunned that quite a lot of (what I consider) minor but still valid or important things haven't been addressed way way before now. As Reason 8 was workflow based, why wasn't ...

So how does this 'assigning a knob' to multiple devices work in regard to detuning the cent on 6 different Subtractors?

Re: Ghost Copies Within a Combinator
But in your example you need the tuning of your synths to be different...? Otherwise, you can assign a knob on a combinator to multiple devices. Yeah good point, but if you linked it wouldn't necessarily work either. Cause if they linked, when you adjusted the cent on the 2nd one it would adjust on...

Ghost Copies Within a Combinator
Hi All! I just discovered something on the Combinator I didn't know you could do. You can duplicate a device within a combinator by ctrl dragging the said device. I was doing it with a Subtractor. You must make sure you don't drag it out of the combinator when duplicating. Anyway, what I was trying ...

Yeah highlight individual notes, or box the whole lot and then quantize. They will then (once quantized) move to the lines of the grid (snap to grid) if that's what you're after. I am understanding you correctly aren't I?

Scope Jnr (How to Use)
Hi!
How do you use Scope Jnr Oscilloscope.
Looked at the manual but it doesn't tell you much. I want to hook it up to the Subtractor to see if I can visualise the oscillator waveforms. Especially those after the main 4.
Thanks!
