Re: Anyone developing a mixer?
Yes. Would be great to have at least 6 sends with returns of the option to die them too the mixer and creat feedback loops or FX mixing. 10 channels in sum would be nice. So like this? mod2.png Yeah. No need to make it extra small. When I mix a sound, I am in mixing mode and working on the mixer on...

Re: Anyone developing a mixer?
How useful is the EQ if we can add any other EQ as an insert before going into the mixer? I thought maybe it might be cool for drum kits but not for instruments in Combinators. I guess it depends on what people are using this kind of mixer for. I think the sends are very useful though. For quick ov...

Re: Anyone developing a mixer?
The send channels are the interesting part, at least 6 or 8 which can be tied back to the mixer or send to returns. You mean this? Screenshot 2024-03-09 at 7.12.12 pm.png Yes. Re: Anyone developing a mixer?
Still early days, much UI work needed, I am still not convinced it is bringing anything to the table over Line Mixer 6:2 and Mixer 14:2. Yes it is smaller than 14:2, yes it has more channels than 6:2... but do we really need something in between these? mix82_front.PNG mix82_back.PNG Murf Not the mi...

Re: New RE -- PinkNoise Studio Rama Synthesizer
I can't remember any free synth. Can you name it? If you like it, buy it. If it is too expensive, hope for a sale. Regarding rent to own, I am not sure if the dev needs to enable this. You could ask the dev if his device is the only one not available for rent to own. Maybe it is not offered, becaus...

Re: New RE -- PinkNoise Studio Rama Synthesizer
Andras never disappoints....Rama is spectacular! I discovered it today & have been enjoying the trial...such an amazing amount of analog warmth & depth for a sample-based synth! Though I think there are a good amount of inspirational presets in Rama...well...I just wish there were more of them. I n...

Re: API 560 inspired graphic EQ (free/stock REs)
OK, so I optimized this EQ, added some additional functionality, and made a graphic faceplate for it. I was going to share it here on the forum in a new topic, but somehow I felt compelled to do an in-deep write-up as to why I made this combinator and why I made it the way I did. I even made severa...

Re: API 560 inspired graphic EQ (free/stock REs)
Since this is a forum, it is about sharing opinions and having discussions. I wholeheartedly agree with that. I even may have posted statements to that effect in the past myself :puf_wink: But, mods including yourself AND Giles are often quick to point out that a discussion needs to stay on topic. ...

Re: API 560 inspired graphic EQ (free/stock REs)
Just thought you'd want to know what was going on, that's why I posted the graphics and suggested the Bertom plugin. I didn't ask for that, did I? I posted this topic to share an EQ combi-2 that I made, and I think some people might like it. So you barge in here, unasked, posting a lot of stuff nob...

Re: P455 MDN Sidecar
I didn't tried any products from them yet and just checked the web site. Everything looks suspicious with too much marketing blurb with funny prices. Reminds me of an SSL channel strip for 1000 bucks, which only had standard algorithms used, but everyone could hear the magic for his 1000 bucks... I ...

Re: Why are there only two CV inputs and outputs in Complex-1?
A knob via a Combinator has 127 steps, while it can have more without. Controlling a knob via Combinator CV could have the same limitations, while controlling via Combinator CV may have not. Never tried tbh... This I am still quite confused by all this in the RS environment - so I've just assumed t...

Re: Why are there only two CV inputs and outputs in Complex-1?
CV in the Combinator targets the control and acts more like automation of a control. This is why you see the control move and that is restricted to the range and quantization of the control. CV on a device targets the parameter directly (this is why you don't see the controls move). Depending, when...

Re: Tape Delays?
The Echo has a Wobble, Pitch Up/Down, Filter, Tube, Modulation, Diffusion, L/R Feedback Control, L/R Offset, Delay Offset and more...and finally a Break Out... Pretty good for a Delay, that can do quite a lot and for sure even tape delays... It just lacks some noise from tape and motors. You can do ...

Re: Selig Audio Live Stream Thursday Feb 8, 2024, 21:00 UTC
Didnt watched the stream until now, but wanted to check it later to get some mixing lessons. Is it still worth to watch, even if you changed the final mix now or did some "mistakes" to the old mix? You can probably get "something" from it, try watching the first few minutes - oh wait, I forgot to s...

Technically I didn't buy it myself, my most awesome partner did (she is a designer and a big fan of TE, even has an original OP1). So far I'm getting on with it far better than the OP1…been asked to review it for Recording Magazine, so more details to follow! Screen Shot 2024-02-09 at 3.04.56 PM.pn...
