I think NI will step by step unify all its sub brands into additions to Komplete/Native Access so they don't have to support additional deployment and authentication systems for eternity. Merging of the different accounts into a/the NI account will also be step in this process.

Re: Reason Studios 30th Anniversary Live Stream
I’m dreaming of a mixer that drops all of the fancy graphics to be completely customizable, resizable, and vector based. And of course you could snap it alongside the arranger or rack view as single or multiple channels.. I guess I’m dreaming of every other major daw out these days… I certa...

Oh well, so no cake for my AMD Phenom II X6. I think I'll have to upgrade that system sometime soon as more and more stuff depends on AVX2 or SSE4.2.

I think it's just a natural layout that simply comes to mind when thinking about how to build a drum step sequencer where you can see multiple lanes at once.

Re: Player Idea: Generative/Pendulum Note Player
It would be possible to create some players that could generate the note sequences, but only with much less eye candy as the options for blur and such are quite limited in the RE custom display widget.

Re: Tonicmint CV witch question
I think you're misinterpreting what logical AND does. AND gives true if both of A or B are true (= over the threshold). What you're looking for seems to be bool(A-B).

Re: Reason Tutorials: "One Neat Trick" [Preview]
Some hopefully constructive feedback from me: I think your tutorial gives good inspiration on how one can utilise CV and the combinator to get a nice generative sequence going. It's very valuable info for someone who is new to Reason and has not yet taken a deeper dive into the possibilities of it. ...

Re: How to create Unison effect in Thor using analog oscillators
Dividing by an oscillator or LFO is not a good idea in general as any oscillator/LFO will periodically hit 0. Thus it's usually multiplication instead. So, where is the division's application? Creating noise. Every pass close to 0 will cause clipping and thus distortion so the result will be pretty...

Re: Any hiss or noise reduction tools in reason?
The best kind of noise removal is usually done via an offline process where the tool can analyse the whole file to generate a (dynamic) noise profile. This cannot be done just as good in a live process (like in an RE).

An AI bot that give you valuable production advice like:
* Your snare sounds like shit!
* Needs more bass/cowbell!
* That melody does not work with those chords
* Have you considered taking a break (and starting all over)?
etc.

IIrc there were some bugs with respect to high sample rates or changing the sample rate in a session, but I'm not sure if those got resolved.

That has been one of the main critique points when complex-1 came out and nothing has changed in all those years, since. So I guess some more bug reports/requests to RS might be needed.

The Spider CV Merger/Splitter also has inverted outputs, so you can simply use one of those to invert the signal.

Re: Rebirth Emulation
There's really no need for this, as you can get the 808 and 909 via Redrum (or even more specific REs) and the 303s via ABL3 RE. The PCF and the distortion are there as half rack modules. Just wire them up like in Rebirth and put it all in combinator to keep things organised.
