Thanks. Grabbed it. Noticed in my account that the downloads are VERY time limited. Then you have to re-purchase them. At full price!? Not a fan of that...

Re: Ample and EZKeys
I'm looking at getting some stuff for Christmas- I would like to make guitar strum patterns and am thinking of getting the Ample Sound Strummer, and getting KeyFax guitar library. I'm also interested in EZkeys piano loops from the Toontrack Latin library. Any thoughts? First you need an EzKeys soun...

Here is the link:

Looks like they put more plugins on a $29 deal, but nothing out of the ordinary sales AFAI could see.

Re: Audiaire Zenith: MIDI controller and sequencer
Thanks. Yeah, I think I'll wait, a bit expensive, and I need to learn Cubase more. You can set up your own page with knobs and sliders and send CC and SysEx to the synth, then automate those knobs. If I need something more I can probably get along easier with CableGuys MidiShaper. Maschine 2 is anot...

Re: Audiaire Zenith: MIDI controller and sequencer
I downloaded the demo a while back but never got into it. Not much on YouTube and the HW list seems incomplete. Looks cool though so maybe worth a second look. But I guess the automation is mostly for the techno and dubstep crowd. I was interested to use it as a HW controller but not sure how much y...

Big Fish Monument is another freebie.
But only Serato Sample does exactly what op asked for, though the others mentioned can be quite useful with additional features.

Re: deCoda
If you have Iris2 you can paint away (mask) audio in the spectrum and just isolate one part. Takes time but can work on short pieces. And iris is free or 9 bucks usually. Cubase 11 Pro has vocal isolation built in, and iZotope RX does it too, but now the cost will be in the hundreds. You can buy the...

More like once every 3 mo. But Google Focusrite Collective and you'll see what was in the past. Some quite useful, so not, but 1 or 2 per year maybe.
Devastor 2 VST is 50% off right now by the way.

Re: Demand on CPU from Multiple RRP instances
Not exactly what I said, I was only referring to the RRP. Also different DAWs handle plugins a little different so CPU use may differ a little. With multi core CPUs you are normally better off running multiple instances of RRPs rather than one fully loaded layered as the DAW can spread the load over...

Any opinions on the Mode Audio sample packs? Not a big sample pack guy but thinking of picking up the Pulse percussion pack. First go through the RS library. There must be half a dozen places where percussion and FX are hiding, all with random names and duplicates in all its glory, but just drag th...

Mainly for transcribing midi from audio. But these plugins typically generate a lot of garbage you have to clean up. Try it first. Extracting audio parts often comes with a lot of ugly phasing. Usually not very useful, but sometimes. Probably good at doing what it was meant to do, analyse song struc...

My understanding is that they use the UJAM Gorilla engine. It is a RE SDK, so the same quality DSP that UJAM use, same as Loopmaster Bass Master etc. The way they put it all together is their own, so I do not think you have to be concerned about the underlying quality, just evaluate if you like it a...

Re: Demand on CPU from Multiple RRP instances
The Rack is not an instrument, cause it is empty.
Latency comes from the plugins having latency, not the Rack.
CPU usage comes from the plugins, not the Rack.
It means the performance depends on what you put in the Rack.

Re: Vital is out, basic version is free
Reason is always online for me, so an online VST won't bother me. Its not a problem to be online, it's a problem if a app communicates all the time with servers i don't know and sends data i don't know. I will check that, before i install it... I just read a bit available Infos, and yes, the text-t...

If Arturia wanted to protect their design they could have filed a Design Patent in the EU and one in the US. Cost is less than $1000 USD each. I know how this works because I have done this myself. In the EU you are granted a Design Patent automatically for 3yr by law. It was put in place to protect...

Re: Carve EQ - Trackspacer (and/or TDR Nova)
TDR is easy to use for this IMO. Trackspacer can have some benefit as it seems faster to set up, but TDR does let you save your presets, soooo. The Carve RE may have som bugs, so check in on some older threads, I'm unsure if they were resolved or not. The sound you want to carve out for can usually ...

Kushview and Wusik both allow for oversampling, so you could throw in RRP and run Reason devices at hi quality.
Might be a useful feature that seems overlooked.

I'd also say look seriously at Vital. I think once folks start making presets etc this will be the go to wavetable synth. Not too many presets yet, but nice to work with (and that matters) Second, SynthMaster One, sounds great and nice workflow, great presets. Third, Fxpansion Strobe2 or Cypher2 - a...

Re: Zampler Bundle - 96% off
I heard someone say these are non looped samples, and some were found to be out of tune or in the wrong pitch. So, I think you need to expect to put in some work in order to use some of them. I don't know how useful the sounds are or weather they are properly multi-sampled, but the video should give...
