Sonic Robots
I just watched a fascinating video about a guy who makes robots that make music and beats. Here's the link for anyone who might be interested.

Amazing Moog solo
Here's a link to a YouTube video of a band called 'Snarky Puppy' performing a track called Thing of Gold from their album groundUP. The Moog solo played by Shaun Martin that comes in around 4:50 is awesome. It gives me goosebumps every time.

I certainly think that the Akai MPK249 is worth what I paid for it. I don't know about the MPK25.

Re: Midi controller 25 keys and pads
Most obvious one that springs to mind is the Akai MPK25. I have the MPK249 and the pads just work with Kong straight out of the box.

Re: (Jazz) I Remember You
Great track. Flute sound was full and lush and the drums were beautifully crisp. Overall I liked the open feel of the mix, nothing was crowding anything else. Nice interpretation of the song too.

A well written review. Makes me want to buy it and I don't even do a lot with orchestral sounds.

Nice track Eugenio. In addition to the good lead sound and melody line I particularly liked the arp pattern and the choir sound. Well done.

Re: Combinator Skins
Here's a combinator skin that I created from a photograph that I took of the back of an old Roland keyboard that belongs to Eddie Rayner, who used to play keyboards for Split Enz. I'm not sure which model Roland it is but I thought it might make a cool generic 'Vintage Roland' combi backdrop. I've ...

Re: The RE2A IS in the giveaway!!
Did you ever receive any email from Cakewalk after you registered? I didn't. Yes, I got a Cakewalk Account Management e-mail with a link to go to to verify the e-mail address and activate my account. Then I received another saying that my account had now been activated. After all of this I then sen...

Re: The RE2A IS in the giveaway!!
Just to verify, they are more than willing to add your info to their list even if you've already registered. My acct already had another DAW listed as primary, so I contacted support and they had no problem add me to the list to get the RE version as well. They just ask to verify your full name and...

Yes but at $79 it's a little steep when it's being given away as a VST.NicolaAlexandraHajdu wrote:Thank you for the link. I have this baby as RE for the Reason rack and i encourage everyone to get it.

I downloaded the VST but it would be great if they offered the same deal to Reason users by making the RE2A Leveling Amplifier free for a limited time via the Propshop.

The Beatles one sounds far more Beachboys. That said, I don't think that human composers are in any danger just yet.
