Re: Cannot save or export songs HELP!!!

as a very last resort assuming nothing else works out, use something like audio hijack or total recorder, you would at least have the stereo wav file saved to your computer as a reference. Have you tried quitting the application to see if the save dialog appears?

Re: Give me your reasons why not to upgrade to Reason 11

if you aren't on a new enough OS(mac 10.11 or newer) and you have other software/hardware that requires you stay on an older OS without spending a bunch of money...

also it wouldn't hurt to wait for updates and the black friday sale, to see if it sweetens the deal.

Re: Behringer RD-8 TR-808 Clone [Pre-Order OPEN]

I have an UREI optical compressor, but I use my VST, because it is great and everything saved in the song, I can use multiple instances, and so on... you have an original teletronix la-2a? I would definitely be putting the hardware to use in the tracking stage at the very minimum, printing the tone...

haha...yeah I know what ya mean. I love Zappa and most all of his musicians, but it's fun to discover new stuff too. one of his bands is knower, they are really funky. here some more fun videos since you dig it, it's a completely fresh approach to what's out there. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ix...

I'd prefer something similar to this. Also would be handy to have auto fades when doing editing for certain types of work.

Re: When the SSL isn't an SSL (weird issue) solved!

take all of the vst outs and route to a 14:2 reason mixer, and than route the main outs of the 14:2 into the mix channel ins. What's the advantage of using the middle-man (14:2 mixer)? quicker and less routing to mix channels, if you don't want the control of the ssl channel strips individually.

or create a bunch of mix channels for each vst stereo pair of outputs, or do it mono depending on your needs.

Re: Arturia - 3 Delays You'll Actually Use (Leak)

I have a lot of delays, but the memory man looks interesting, and it's probably my favorite analog delay that's not tape based. I wonder if it will have a better bucket brigade algorithm than the Valhalla delay?

Re: Trickle Theory (electronic)

I like the idea and what you have so far, one small critique....the kick drum seems a little out of time with the main melodic arpeggio. did you play this in live? or maybe use some plug ins that might be causing a little latency? you could try to quantize it a little bit, or go 100%, depending on y...

Anybody else go? It was only playing for 1 night, and it looks like they are going to make it an annual thingy to have a new concert movie every year! I'll take it, since the band is in retirement now. Hoping for the Permanent Waves 40th anniversary footage for the next one! Warning spoilers below: ...

Re: Compared to "pro" DAWs, what is missing?

biggest one for me that pro tools and logic do, is saving incremental session data without having to wrap all the audio within each save, takes up too much space in my opinion. logic gives you the option to do both, so that would be ideal.

Re: PA Subscriptions

nice! their plug ins are on another level, and might seem pricey to some, but once you start using them you will see why they are so popular. the amp sims are fantastic too, I have a few of them through universal audio, but have been thinking about picking up some more directly from PA.

Not sure if it will be the Deal of the Week or just a Hot Deal, the price for Synth Bundle 2 from Noise Engineering is just €13.20! https://www.propellerheads.com/shop/product_bundle/synth-bundle-2/ This has to be some sort of a mistake because Synth Bundle 1 is on sale for 50% off... unless that's...
