Re: What do you think about this? (about Parsec 2)
Wtf is wrong with you ppl, Props included. The OP is asking why Parsec cannot produce sound above 16k! Music for cats? Lol! As funny as an answer that might be, it's unprofessional as fuck! Propellehead what the hell is amatter with you, this is no way to talk to your customers. On top of that I ha...

Re: Will we ever get real-time audio slicing (lazy chopping) in reason?
Curious about this, but not sure I see a use case for this - isn't the point of slicing to re-arrange the audio? If the original audio is playing, how you can you re-arrange it without stopping first? I can't see an advantage to manually marking slice points on the fly if you have to fine tune them ...

Re: What do you think about this? (about Parsec 2)
By the way, I'm still wondering if there is another update of Parsec in the making with sample/wavetable loading. This would be very nice. As I understand it, and I could be wrong here, Parsec is neither a sample nor a wavetable based synth. It's additive, using sine waves to build waveforms. So I ...

Re: Automate the pitch button in Proton?
If you mean the Keyboard Tracking On/Off, it's under Tuning. Root Note has the same effect as semitone - it's just another pitch control of sorts, so in that sense it's redundant to control it, right? Maybe I should as what you're intention is in each of these cases? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

To be fair, this is a testimonial from the Steinberg website, and he also referred to using factory content. Still, his "sounds better" statement doesn't leave much room for interpretation. :) Mobiler Beitrag If only that was what he said. EDIT: To clarify, he didn't say either system sounded bette...

Re: Reason Sound Quality
The one thing I don't get about loading samples into the NN-XT or Redrum or what have you, is people say they're lower in volume to leave headroom. So other daw's don't do this? then why not? Also, so (as someone pointed out above) when you use multiple samples, Reason leaves headroom so you don't ...

I must say - as so many of us believe there's a Reason sound, there must be some truth to it. We hear the radios, we don't sound the same. What it comes down to is knowing how to mix in reason. I thought the same thing for years until recently. It is true that every other daw (everyone i've used) is louder out the gate compared to reason. The thing about other daws that i don't like is they have a brighter, crispier sound. Things are ...

Re: How to transpose Refill loops to a different key?
Hi; Trying to figure this out. Most of these loops typically come in REX or WAV format, and more than often, they are already set to a specific key (like a synth stab, etc..). What is the best way to take an existing loop, and transpose that to a different key, so it will work with your song that i...

I always thought Reaper and Cubase sound different. No examples, or evidence. Just my feeling. Re: Reason Sound Quality
Actually it might be cool if all DAWs did have their own sound. Similar to different mic-pre transformers, mic diaphrams. Yea, but only if you can change it - with mics/preamps you can use many different combinations at once. But with a DAW it's one at a time for the most part. Sent from my iPad us...
