Re: My main R9 wants:
I also wish the mixer's spectrum analyzer wasn't so delayed to respond. It's hard to get a true representation in real time. And I wish it had more frequency points. - automatic latency compensation (i know thats a complete complicated to do one…) - sdk 3 (with notes to track, interchangeable panel...

Re: More Rotaries on the Combinator
Yeah 16 Rotaries and buttons I've seen mentioned on the old Props Forums. Someone did an absolute awesome drawing of a new 16 Rotary and Buttoned combi that was quite frankly, magnificent.

I think this is amazing mate. Great idea!
Also a Thor and Malstom Controller as well, even a Kong, awesome. Is there any pics of a Thor version of the above pics anywhere?

THEMES!
Hi All! There are many features I would like to see in Reason (I have about 30 if you include completing the midi editing features which is 15 or more features on it's own) then Reason is done for me, but one I thought of a few months ago was, THEMES! Anybody else with me here? As in Themes, I mean ...

House Kick Drum Creation
Hi! Was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on making a nice house kick drum on Reason. Not a 808 sub kind of kick though with a long tail or release. Just a nice thuddy, yet at the same time soft kinda kick drum if that makes sense. I just you tubed some progressive house and found this one...

Analysing a Bass Sound Using Thor
Hi! Trying to get better at synthesis. Start with bass using Thor as it's the most capable non Re synth for Reason which I have. Say for instance, I have a bass sound I'm tryna go for off a track. How would people analyse it. What would you listen for, how would you know what oscillator type might b...

Vst's into Reason
Hi All!
I have seen a couple of video's on You Tube but still not sure on this.
Can Vst's be used within Reason using the External Midi Instrument?
I've seen it using Soundflower but think that is mac only? I have windows 7.
Thanks!

Re: White Noise Texture
Nice one but both you guys have misconstrued what I'm saying. I don't want it to sound like a jumbo jet. I just thought I did at the beginning of this thread, but turns out not lol!esselfortium wrote:Try this: http://essel.spork-chan.net/music/patch ... lange.thor

Re: White Noise Texture
Descent - automate LP filter down Ascent - automate LP filter up A little bit of resonance helps too - like 1/4. I put a High Pass Filter around 600hz on the channel of the white noise. That will take care of the deep noise you describe. Reverb is good too. For the airplane effect, I think I'd try ...

White Noise Texture
Hi! I have been trying for a while now, to make a white noise woosh that descends in frequency rather than ascends, so falls and not rises. I want it to sound like a jumbo jet landing on a runway. I have used the Subtractor and tried the Thor. The Subtractor sounds too atmospheric if you get me, too...

Re: House Music Producer
Yeah that could be an idea Hobbyist. I can you see, come up with a good piano chord sequence, a good bass line, do an alright beat and come up with a nice vocal over the top, some nice strings as well. The things that I struggle with are in 3 areas. 1) - making the beats fat (I'm guessing layering a...

Re: House Music Producer
Thanks Hobbyist! I like old skool house music. Shades of Rhythm, PKA, Prodigy, Leftfield, ASHA, Jimi Polo, N-Joi, Moby etc. I like deep house too. Most of that. paulm000 - thanks been checking them out. Find them too general, far too technical like kicks peaking at 100hz. I need practical stage by s...

Mono Mixing
Hi All! Just read an article about mixing and it says always record your sound sources in mono. So what sources in Reason are mono? I know the Subtractor is mono and I think the Malstrom is, is Thor? and what about an audio track when recorded (in my case) through one channel on an audio interface, ...

Lead Guitarist
Hi! Looking for a lead guitarist to put a lead riff on a track for me? I have the chords laid down and have the riff (played to my best ability) on my acoustic guitar going through the Softube Guitar Amp which sounds like an electric guitar. I have also pencilled in the notes on an ID8 piano too. If...

Hi! I'm looking for a House Music producer in the U.K that uses Reason 8.3. Stoke-On-Trent to be precise but that might be a long shot haha! Malstrom
I have heard people say on different forums, that it would be great (and I agree) if you were able to record your own samples / impulses into Malstrom. A Malstrom2 so to speak. Somebody did say though that this would never happen as Malstrom was not made by Propellerhead, it was made by a third part...

Re:
Well part of what you might want includes setting thor up to do true stereo synthesis, as is explained on its back. Use a multi osc saw and pan left right, detune by up to 30 cents can sound acceptable (depending on the melody, maybe even more). Add two or more synths with sawtooth waves and pan te...

Re: Korg M1 Piano Refill
here you go. You will have to "re-find" the samples because these were nested in my songs folder. After that re-save the NNXT file and you are good to go. Just to be clear: These are my own samples that I made so there are no copyright problems with me uploading this file. Thx! D. Sorry mate this d...
