The one on the right is wired up as an insert, the one on the left is outside of your mixer channel.
I'm pretty sure you can combine once you put another fx after the alligator on the right (it has to be two devices)

Re: Channel EQ (Reason classic) HPF adding gain?
no, it's a property of the filter implementation being used, which is probably a Chebyshev type I design. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chebyshev_filter They have a ripple near the crossover frequency and since it's a lowpass filter and the most energy is in the low frequencies, you can notice it o...

Re: Channel EQ (Reason classic) HPF adding gain?
This is a documented "feature" of a high pass filter. https://www.soundonsound.com/sound-advice/q-why-does-using-high-pass-filter-make-things-seem-louder So it is a phase problem, like I was speculating. Thanks Gilles!!! no, it's a property of the filter implementation being used, which...

Re: Double Tracking Effect from Bcase in the shop!
I usually hook something like this up by myself with Wavesfactory Cassette and Pulsar, which allows you to have actual tape artifacts as well if you want. Won't be buying this for 43€ but it's cool to see something like that in RE format.

Re: Stutter Edit 1 vs 2
I just wish there was a way to globally set the dry/wet amount of all "keys" inside a preset bank. I often find the stock patches to be too loud, which in return means a LOT of work if all you want to do is spice up a drum loop, because you have to adjust 2-4 knobs per key used. I also found v2 to b...

https://artsandculture.google.com/experiment/blob-opera/AAHWrq360NcGbw :-) Blob Opera is just amazing. Just wait until that tech trickles down to plugin developers. It makes Pipa et al. look like a toy. Although, admittedly, Pipa seems nice to have and very useful in some specific scenarios! Not too...

Re: R.I.P. MusicTech magazine
to be fair, those magazines consisted of 60% ads for synths and gear you could never afford. publishers deep in the pockets of the music industry. reviews were ads. they contained some interviews where you could extract exactly zero knowledge from. maybe a tutorial or two on certain production techn...

Congratulations!! You guys really made that synth shine I learned to like the dub pre-amp while making my entry, so that's cool because without the competition I wouldn't even have considered it being something I could use. Looking forward to the next one!

Re: Behringer Swing
It's the fact they can't just make their own midi controller/sequencer at a low price. They have to specifically (and exactly) rip off another company's product. They have to. Because, that way, they don't have to do any R&D. They don't have to do any market research. The other company paid for tho...

Re: Behringer Swing
I've read in the YT comments that it'll cost the same - but I have yet to see a price point being mentioned.
Personally I wouldn't mind a Keystep at 1/3 of the price, because let's face it, plastic MIDI controllers are wayyyy overpriced, but that might be just me..

Edit: Re:Military time with 24:00 Okay gotcha, and it makes sense as it tells you that it's the end of a certain day, but it's good practice to use timestamps that aren't occupied twice. So I'd rather read something like [Nov 22, 23:59 CET] for our specific scenario, which would have been crystal cl...

2400 doesn't exist either, it's 0:00 :D timezones are a mess, but add in am/pm (which is unique for a select few of english speaking countries), AND use midnight/noon as limits, you're doomed :D Most countries around the world today use the 24-hour system. However, the 12-hour format, including am a...

PSA for anyone interested in Ableton Live: you can get a license for Live10Lite for free if you register an account at splice.com. You can expand the 8 track limit the same way you would use a Combinator for that matter in Reason, by utilizing the instrument- and drum rack feature.
