I wish for a modular thing like vcv rack but IN the actuall rack where you can patch cables thru devices on the front over the rack spaces etc. combining with the devices allready there but those will ofcourse be at the back as usuall :) Cables on the back AND front....whoho what a mess!!! but in a ...

When clicking on a device in the rack I want that to get the midi focus to play with my keyboard but I also have to click on the thing on the side of the rack/device to get focus, kind of counterproductive imo. Don't use the ssl mixer, use the 14:2 mixer and switch to compatible eq on the back of it. That might get that "reason4" sound

Ah, I see now what's wrong. You need to disconnect the spark le controller and the disconnect the usb cable and connect it again so you get spark le in the Easy midi input. Then you can record your drumming. If you uncheck the enable box and connect the spark le controller with the Connect to Contro...

Wierd, I just load up sparke2 in reason and have a "drum beating" session and it all records in a midi lane.

Only way to do this is to record it to an audio track.
