Re: R11 Suite - in hindsight

No no no!!! I hate that comment even more than RTFM. What's worse if someone on a forum tells you to google it. I guess they forget google searches take you to forums. What’s even worse than that is when they make the person asking the question look like an idiot by saying “A quick search of the fo...

Nugen Audio Stereoplacer Elements in Reason

Recently installed this but when I try to delete it from the Rack I get a Hardware Exception Message in Reason 12 and it won’t delete. Anybody use it?

Actually top least favourite comment is when self righteous folk refer to people with a differing opinion as "whiners". That one really does my head in.

Rtfm!
You got the value out of it already!
Why don’t you trial it and decide for yourself?

Re: R11 Suite - in hindsight

No no no!!! I hate that comment even more than RTFM. Oh, for sure. Since I got back to "making" music in 2017, I've only finished 2 tracks and "almost" finished maybe another 4-5. That justification clearly doesn't apply to me, just figured I'll add it for balance sake. 3rd on the worst replies lis...

Yeah, same here...sort of. I'd bought a whole load of them at full price. That said, the ones I didn't have were the ones I hadn't bought for one reason or the other. Buying Suite would have just been one of those "maybe good to have purchases". So not bothered. I'm on 12 which I got for something ...

I would just do a series of screenshots in Companion. Even with a ton of RE's, it wouldn't take more than a minute.

Oj!!!! Having to install every RE to get a list. Oj oj!!!! Good idea though. Wasn’t the question about how to get a list of only the REs you currently owned, for collaboration purposes? Yes. I was just saying that if you wanted to have a complete list of all the REs you have using the RE directory ...

Trying to collab with a friend and want to compile a quick list of all the REs I own to share with him. Anyone write a script to extract these details from the RS account page? Me and Diminished did some colabs a few years ago and it was the type out by hand method we used. Not the safest when you’...

I want a foot switch to be able to start and stop the main sequencer. The only hardware I have is a Roland sustain pedal switch thingy attached to my midi controller. I can remote override the play button but it only plays , doesn’t stop. Can anyone think of a work around?
Is it latching?

Great!!! Thanks Loque. I always forget about the Tool Window.
You can also use the inspector for this, you don’t need the tool window.
What’s the inspector?!

I'm getting a vibe that Objekt is fun but virtually unprogramable and not worth it. The stock sounds remind of Europa. I think Reason studios should produce three seperate horn modelers Sax ,Trombone, brass and another modeler for reeds

It could also be an idea to explode the different drum sounds into individual lanes (via right-click menu iirc). That way you can also mute individual parts more easily.
Yeah...that's another idea. Forgotten about that too. Thanks

Change velocity of just one drum in the piano roll

I recorded some drums...bass, snare, hihat etc. The velocity of the snare is higher than I want it (the hits are velocity sensitive). Is there any way to select only the snare and lower the velocity of all the hits at once? Thanks

Re: BitSpeek RE vs VST

Funny, just yesterday I was looking at bitspeak again, to see if I could use it in a track I'm working on. I think it is a bit pricey for what it does, and also if I can get close to these effects with BV-X (that I do have). Why are you looking at it? Because there's deals going on at Sonic Charge....

On their website it says: "Q. In the Propellerhead shop it says as of Jan 2019 "The Rack Extension version of Bitspeek is more advanced than the current AU/VST counterpart. Improved volume tracking algorithm with much better transient response and consistency across source material and sample-rates....
