Yeah, I'm stretching and pitching a lot. That's why I started recording in 96k to begin with. And yeah, I'd thought of that, changing it for any kind of in project rendering as well. Hmmm... what a pain in the ass.
Anyway, cheers dude.

Sample Rate Questions
Ok, here we go... I record and process field recordings at 96k. At some point I changed Reasons sample rate to 96k as well to accommodate this (which I think is the correct procedure) but when I really start stacking it up the DSP meter goes bananas and I get drop outs and so on because I'm only on ...

Also, I can sync it manually. Hit play on both. They can be a few tics out, its not that exact.

Reason Live with Video advice?...
Hmmm... Well, I'm in the middle of sculpting to a 32min video using ReasonSync and its playing fine. Not sure where you got the 15min limitation idea from. It's not a live thing though. You're stuck with the borders on the playback window, etc. Otherwise I'd use it, float it over the top. Done. Unle...

Reason Live with Video advice?...
Hi all, I'm putting together an A/V set and I'm not sure how to set this up. My plan would ideally be to play the video, possibly with some kind of bass track that I can improvise over, and a Reason session off of my Macbook all at once. However, I'm not sure how to set up a media player, or indeed ...

Ice lake rock skipping sounds
Yeah, slinky's but other types of wire and springs too. I recent'y recorded cables used to stabilize a closed diving bell. They run down either side of it to keep it from spinning. They're doing a similar thing. That said, you cna't really beat ice. The other good one is when you walk on it and the ...

Apparently blue is/was the most sought after colours by most of humanity. I read that somewhere way back. You bring blue dye to indigenous people and they go nuts because its so hard to make.
I guess those that had indigo were considerably more relaxed about it. Think it was India. Can't remember.

Question though...
Does a SSD improve performance such that one can run more RE's? I'm tempted to get one.

Anyone just use a laptop for Reason?
I went from a 17" something or another to a 15" MBP to a 13" MBP. I always thought I'd miss the big screen and every time I didn't. Wish I could get a quad core 13" though. Took a hit with RE's but not too bad. One thing I like quite a lot is the way a 13" is kind of in the palm of your hand. Even c...

Not going to happen. It will be more watered and dumbed down than it is already to appeal to the masses of EDM wannabe DJ's and producers. I really hope you're wrong. I don't really even care about how much gets added (I want new samplers...) its more that I just don't want em fucking it up at this...

Authorizer 2.7.2 Released...
Ok, so I've updated the Authorizer and now I can't start Reason. Every time I try I get... "Reason needs to install a system extension for the Ignition Key hardware.
This will take a few moments and requires that you provide your Administrator password. After the installation, you will be asked to r...

Reaktor like Rack extension designer
I've posted this before but I like posting about this so here I go again... I think that a good solution to this is small, quality, possibly half rack devices that can be chucked into Combi 2.0. Like a half rack sampler that really just plays a sample and pitches it, ADSR, sample start, done. You wa...

User customizable keyboard shortcuts
These helped me out a load. I'm on a Mac but there may be windows equiv out there. No idea. 1) You can create short cuts in OSX on a per app basis in System Pref>Keyboard>Short Cuts. Anything on a drop down menu can be made into a short cut. 2) Better Touch Tool. Turns the track pad into a power ho...
