I'm pretty sure I used to be able to create a MIDI Out device in the rack, and then add a Player device under this, seeing as the MIDI Out device is an 'Instrument' in Reason. I'm trying to do this now and I can't seem to create a Player, after creating a MIDI Out device, without it bolting on an ID...

Really wish they'd do a rackmount with the USB option. I don't get why so many interfaces are desktop modules or why UA only does thunderbolt only on their rackmounts. Same. I've run out of space for more desktop devices. Admittedly, a big chunk of that desktop space is taken up with a desktop rack...

This is my master output chain in Reason currently. I've been Meaning to try the Kuassa Kratos 2 RE to see how it shapes up against Ozone;

Got them with Reason+ Gave them a quick go. Thought they were a bit like the audio plug-in equivalent of those photo filter type Apps. First thing I grabbed was Codec (someone already posted a link to this on KVR above). Was featured on Andrew Huang's best plug-ins of 2022 video he posted recently. Looks like a cool little plug-in. Not tried it in Reason yet. Might give it a go tonight.
