MClass as low pass filter
The Stereo imager is a much better low pass filter than the MClass EQ. Just solo the Lo Band.

Recording vocals
From the sound of it you don't have a mic stand. Many singers tend to do better singing while standing so the desktop stand may not be the best option. For recording vocals, a shockmount (if there is one for the M3 considering it's unusual shape) can be useful but not an absolute need unless you ant...

With the add on coming to a total of $50 that Indigenous one is very impressive! Very rare to find that kind of quality for cheap. Agreed. Check out the rest of Tracy's stuff. It's unbelievably good and incredibly affordable :) If you buy anything, tell him I sent you ;) Will do, My wallet's been f...

Post your earliest PUF post.
Yeah min doesn't let me see my first 255 posts, so post # 256 on September 11, 2012 was global and selective play? You mean sort of like Live's clip feature for launching loops? If that's what you mean then one idea that's been tossed around is being able to use blocks in real time. Or do some live ...

You know what Reason does better than NI? It records real actual guitar so you don't have to rely on Kontakt for those awesome acoustic tunes of yours. We may not have the PUF anymore, but we still have all the authentic guitar you can need or want. It is my hope and wish that some kid will notice ...

Motif Rack and midi out help please
Sorry Just seeing this. If those also have USB ports then sure you can do the same. Otherwise you would use a regular midi cable from the midi out of either your m track or oxygen to the desired synth/module.

NI's Session Guitarist sounds great by the demo. As with most products I have to look at that cautiously. All efforts are put into making demo's sound great to sell a product. Propellerheads being no different. In the text below the demo it quite clearly says that arpeggiated and slide guitars ...

HOW do you Select the MIDI input from the RACK?
Nope even with R8, theres no solution for this outside of using a controller to scroll through the sequencer tracks.

Reason/Logic Pro X terminology-- parallel processing, specifically
Reason made parallel channels extremely simple. The normal way of doing it (in all other daws) is to use a send at unity gain in pre fader and use that send as the input of an aux track or as many aux tracks as you wish.

New to using VSTs in Reason - a few questions.
I always recommend Rewire (just a stereo mix, not individual channels) over this method as it doesn't have latency and audio routing issues and is a supported method. But If you absolutely want/need to use Reason's sequencer with VSTs then here's a tutorial I made a while back with using The EMI to ...

NI release it in an already available VST market for such kind of plugins, and therefore it wouldn't anything to say if the released it pre or post Props, since the Props not really is a competitor in this regard. VST's like AAS Strum Acoustic GS-1 , MusicLab RealGuitar in addition to all the sa...

It is not rare with strumming libraries for Kontakt. Props strummer was not the first... For clarification, I never believed Props were innovative with those RE. Well known knowledge that the IDT is essentially Kontakt player repackaged for Reason. I did find it odd though that Props made one befor...

Motif Rack and midi out help please
Your setup is the problem. Your Utility settings on the Motif rack however are correct. First off, you don't need any of that advanced midi stuff or anything in the Sync menu. All of that (except midi clock output) is for controlling Reason devices not external ones. All you need is the EMI device. ...

I know what you mean. Scarbee has great libraries. Those EP's are nice. I wish Jamal would convert his keys to IDT. I contacted him and he did have an insight into it. It seems like a big fat no. I actually alerted him to it on FB when it was first announced. He seemed excited at first, I guess the...

Well, vast majority of NI stuff is top notch. If i had the will and a reason to, I'd be all over their stuff. I've been eyeing Maschine for too long now but really don't feel like investing into stuff that i'll use only for a hobby/no return on investment. I've done plenty of that before. Like dati...

Have you tried holding shift when you move the faders? That allows you to make fine adjustments.
