Re: Noise Engineering's 3x RE

Been playing with Basimilus – and I must say I'm impressed. Feels almost too easy to get great percussion or drums out of it. Any randomized Matrix- or PSQ-pattern seem to work. Great module. Hope for more REs like this...

Does anyone know if the old players will be updated as well?
Think not. But I in the video you can see a new midi to cv player device. Hopefully this mean that we will get som cv-control over them.

Re: Reaktor sequencers

Couldn't get it to work. Have Reaktor 6 and Reason 10. Could you guys make an ensamble with this routing and an reason rsn for us? That would help a lot  Thanks in advance! :reason: I haven't tried the PitchCV-Block route. I haven't had any problems to get the pitch to track the way I sh...

Re: How do reason people feel about using the modules reason 5 has?

Thor is still the synth I use for almost every basic duty - it's versatile and you can load tons of them. Subtactor and Malstrom rarely. Haven't really used Subtractor since Thor came, but I really like Malstrom - should use it more. And Matrix still finds a way in all the time despite its limitatio...

Re: Reaktor sequencers

Hi, sorry if this has been covered before but I am pulling my hair out, what's left of it, trying to get Spiral Reaktor sequencer to sequence Europa.I am running Reaktor 6 as a vst within reason 10 but can't get it to play anything on Europa or any other synths.I have watched some videos but still c...

Re: Reaktor integration with VST rack I/O

And finally also the re-routing was successful... Sure there's lots of stuff going on with OSC, float integers, 7bit... Not to mention You get only one input, so I had to merge Gate and pitch... how and what exactly is going on... I have not the slightest idea... Also we still need a standalone app...

Re: Reaktor integration with VST rack I/O

Looks interesting. Still using Spiral? Usually use it with a quantizer to get more control over the pitch. But there is a lot of useful sequencers in Reaktor. The dark mod on Kodiak – https://www.native-instruments.com/en/reaktor-community/reaktor-user-library/entry/show/11559/ – is really quite fun...

Re: Reaktor integration with VST rack I/O

If you put Spiral in a blocks ensemble with a UTL-NoteIn connected to terminal out ports for gate, pitch and velocity and go to the properties for Spiral and select UTL-NoteIn for MIDI Out. Then on the UTL-NoteIn you choose Channel Intern. Then you can get the midi from Spiral out as audio into Reas...

Re: Robotic Bean Step Note Recorder Bug?

Hi, I wonder if this is a bug? It sure bugs me. So here is the situation. You create a combinator and put a thor and step recorder. Then you create another thor and take lfo2 cv out and go into step recorder's cv in trough external signal processor and out via tuned out into combinator main cv in. ...

Re: Need help recreating anlogue kick technique from video

Easiest way to do it is of course just to use Thor and do all the routing there. Even if Reason is kind of modular it doesn't work like a modular synth. Almost all oscillators in Reason needs a gate event to make a sound – except Pulsar and Ammo (as far as I know). And even if it's possible to use ...

Thanks for the replies. Will check out the combi's soon. It looked so simple from the video but I don't know what knobs he was turning and what those knobs actually do. I managed to get a bit better sound after I posted but still nowhere near the quality from the video. I want to avoid having to pu...

Re: What kind of new RE would you guys like to see developed?

By the way I really miss a low pass gate in reason. I would really like to see a stand alone RE low pass or dynamics gate with opto-isolator emulation - or as a part of a RE-synt (it would be a great addition to Resonans for example).

Re: What kind of new RE would you guys like to see developed?

I'd like a really good note quantizer. Everything out there is very simplistic / limited: it all assumes you want to quantise everything to a scale spanning a single octave. I would like an RE that allows me to choose a scale crossing as many octaves as I like and quantize an incoming signal to tha...
