Re: PSQ-1684 Showroom
Subscribed. Just to get things started... here's a very simple psq patch, nothing fancy at all. Actually psq is just used as a clock- and cv-source to get a kind of tweakable ratcheting percussion machine. The problem with psq-projects is that they tend to get rather complicated. Its easy to wire up...

Re: So I finally tired Echobode...
I'm not really on Team Echobode. It's fine as a delay, but there are other delays that I like more (e.g. Steerpike). The metallic effect resulting from the frequency shifting isn't a sound I particularly like. I've had a bit of fun getting ring mod style voice FX from it, but overall it's a bit of ...

Re: reasonexperts
I'm subscribed to his sites and leave feedback when applicable. Do people want to give him hugs because his ego is hurt and/or because he wants recognition from Propellerhead? He's not even trying to sell stuff as he says in the video but I'm sure he could if he wanted to. He claims his work is for...

Re: Bought Reaktor
So the christmas gift from Native Instruments was some Kontakt thing (can't use it, don't own Kontakt) and a discount voucher for 25 euros. But they won't let you use it for upgrades. Bastards! The Kontakt Player is free – just download it. Kinetic treats isn't up my alley though, but it's always n...

Re: reasonexperts
What's up with that guy? I just saw the latest video from him and he seems pretty frustrated about he's work not being recognized by propellerheads. I'm pretty new to this community and feeling kinda sad after I saw this, because it seems kinda lame not giving this guy at lease some credit. I under...

Re: So I finally tired Echobode...
Echobode is one of my absolute favorites too. The delay is absolutely fantastic - perfect for Karplus-Strong synthesis, and with a frequency shifter in the feedbackloop you can get some really amazing metallic percussions out of just a burst of noise. And then there is of course everything else you ...

Re: Is there any appetite for a new series of modular REs?
I guess we can all wish for the possibilities of half rack, cables on the front, and of a new Combinator, etc. But as the reality is what it is and that nothing of that is going to happen, what possible RE-modules are people interested in? What is lacking as it is? Maybe we can inspire some crazy de...

Re: Is there any appetite for a new series of modular REs?
Oh man these look great! Now you can't just tease us like this ;) I really like the dual idea to make good use of the panel size. Hey you could call it "MoDualar" :D Just needs a voice distributor and maybe a couple of extra utility racks (like a CV matrix/switcher, basic step sequencer). Here ya g...

Re: Is there any appetite for a new series of modular REs?
…I was talking about separate modules. I'm also for simpler monophonic modules, but with modulation possibilities. With a dual oscillator you can have some internal routing and avoid some cable clutter - and for full rack modules, dual modules seems like a better way to go...snip… I envisioned a li...

Re: Is there any appetite for a new series of modular REs?
I guess that all the people who have bought PSQ-1684 is interested in working with modular setups in Reason. Personally I would like a Buchla type of Complex Oscillator, Function Generator and a Low Pass Gate. I'm seeing a disconnect here, with the OP requesting simpler modules and you (and others)...
