Re: Will we ever get real-time audio slicing (lazy chopping) in reason?
I'm still waiting on this feature. It would be nice. Here's a quick example. I've mentioned this before. Would do wonders when chopping samples. https://twitter.com/MREESE06/status/840973831187640320 Hey, have a quick question using the example you posted: What if you wanted to take that first slic...

Re: Setting Up Mixed Time
Not going to bother to go through that, my reply still stands as is and it covers everything asked. OK, we'll see when the OP replies. ;) I already asked to post up what he's trying to express. As did I, but not sure why that's relevant here. While we await their reply… Didn't the OP already post u...

Setting Up Mixed Time
If you are doing strict 7/8, there are no triplets. Triplets are defined as 'tree in the space of two' is that what you're saying? Or are you saying that you want to see how the beats (8th notes in 7/8) are sub-divided: is it felt as 3 8ths, then 4 8ths (like Pink Floyd's "Money"), or 4 then 3, or ...

Setting Up Mixed Time
Hello, I'm working on a song in 7/8, and it's really important to capture the triplet-duple-duple feel. However, Reason (9.2.2d1) subdivides all of the 8th notes equally. I've noticed this is true for any time signature with a triplet feel (6/8, for instance). Is there a way to force Reason to subd...

Re: Pan knob acting as Dry/Wet knob
I would ask what specific effects you're hearing this on, and how you have them wired up. The sends "follow" the pan knobs such that if you pan the signal to the left you'll also send to the left. One possible scenario could be that you're using an effect such as a stereo delay that has a short dela...

Re: Reason Sound Quality
You are implying that people mean only the synth sounds. That's the only thing they can mean. It's been proven that Reason can play samples and audio tracks so the output completely equals the input. The only thing that sounds different about Reason is using a synth or effect that's not available i...

Re: Will we ever get real-time audio slicing (lazy chopping) in reason?
Curious about this, but not sure I see a use case for this - isn't the point of slicing to re-arrange the audio? If the original audio is playing, how you can you re-arrange it without stopping first? I can't see an advantage to manually marking slice points on the fly if you have to fine tune them...

Re: Automate the pitch button in Proton?
Or well I think I need a visual helper for the remote mapping on the Proton indeed. Yea, this is a limitation of using the custom display. ;( We may be able to come up with something that helps a little in a future update, but it's still not going to be lined up with all of the controls unfortunate...

Re: What do you think about this? (about Parsec 2)
By the way, I'm still wondering if there is another update of Parsec in the making with sample/wavetable loading. This would be very nice. As I understand it, and I could be wrong here, Parsec is neither a sample nor a wavetable based synth. It's additive, using sine waves to build waveforms. So I ...

Re: Automate the pitch button in Proton?
I'm unable to load yesterday song, it gives me an error, missing file needed. The contained sample was previously saved in a disk location. Keyboard tracking does not seem to work the same way as setting the pitch button on and off . At least in my tests it had not the desired effect. My videorecor...

Wtf is wrong with you ppl, Props included. The OP is asking why Parsec cannot produce sound above 16k! Music for cats? Lol! As funny as an answer that might be, it's unprofessional as fuck! Re: Automate the pitch button in Proton?
If you mean the Keyboard Tracking On/Off, it's under Tuning. Root Note has the same effect as semitone - it's just another pitch control of sorts, so in that sense it's redundant to control it, right? Maybe I should as what you're intention is in each of these cases? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Reason Sound Quality
To be fair, this is a testimonial from the Steinberg website, and he also referred to using factory content. Still, his "sounds better" statement doesn't leave much room for interpretation. :) Mobiler Beitrag If only that was what he said. EDIT: To clarify, he didn't say either system sounded bette...

Re: Reason Sound Quality
The one thing I don't get about loading samples into the NN-XT or Redrum or what have you, is people say they're lower in volume to leave headroom. So other daw's don't do this? then why not? Also, so (as someone pointed out above) when you use multiple samples, Reason leaves headroom so you don't ...
