If the original audio is playing, how you can you re-arrange it without stopping first? I can't see an advantage to manually marking slice points on the fly if you have to fine tune them...

If you mean the Keyboard Tracking On/Off, it's under Tuning. Root Note has the same effect as semitone - it's just another pitch control of sorts, so in that sense it's redundant to control it, right?
