Re: Fabfilter Pro-C - Opinions?
Its good and graphically great to see whats going on and ....shows the signal (waveform) as your filtering out stuff for internal/external sidechain. You will notice it over time but i'd recomend never using the vocal setting/alogorythm. Its disasterous ..really really grabby and jumpy..I honestly d...

Re: Do you still buy REs?
In my magical fantasyland: That is a magical list, indeed! Maybe these ideas can help. I think stacking players is a good way to build your own custom player (and also heavy use of LoveOne's MIDI-CV Converter) I love players, too! -a player that lets me drag and drop a clip from sequencer into the ...

Re: Do you still buy REs?
A good tip (hopefully) for anyone looking for that modular sound in reason is to reset Expanse and use it for the envelopes (cv outs at the back) , if your using with the noise engineering bundle. Another tip for modular in Reason is to get the Cherry Audio Voltage Nucleus VST, currently FREE until...

Re: Reason Studios live stream tonight, March 31!
Thank you to the guys. I thought it very informitive ..i think all the live streams have been . I'm going through a thor buzz right now so this was good timing i guess. Thor crops up in most refills from Reason 4 to Reason 9 and beyond ( i only started in reason 8) so often as a routing, triggering ...

Re: How do I get an effect like a tremolo arm downbend?
I tells ya figg , Poobear is the man for this kinda stuff. I'm not sure if he plays electric guitar or has one but he could prob wire this up in 20 different ways and give you 100 differnt options. I think you will have to take the audio out of the mix channel and into a combi just contaning polar a...

Re: How do I get an effect like a tremolo arm downbend?
I know you could assaign an expression pedal to the pitchbend wheel i polar , or assaign the combi pitch bend wheel or mod wheel to one or both of ptch shifters on polar and then edit remote overide that to your expression pedal but i cant see it sounding very natural. Anyway hope you get sorted

I'm of no help at all unfortunatley. My guitar playing is limited and never used in reason (or amp simulations in reason) but i'm sure someone knows how to imitate it . Is the effect your after anywhere in this video? I cant tell exactly if there is any pitch shifting going on anywhere here as he mi...

Sorry to hear that this has been postponed. Even if it had gone ahead, you would be quarantined on the way in, and quarantined again...

Re: Is there a player Re that prevents hanging notes in scales & chords player?
You need to workout if it is scales and chords as you said a chain, noteview or even the CV tap placed before it will tell if something else is holding the note, if it is Scales and Chords then maybe take control of the On/Off button on the device or the on/off for the chords. Just a thought. Thank...

Is there a player Re that prevents hanging notes in scales & chords player?
I sometimes use scales and chords as a handy quantizer - notes set to 1 and chords off but it does cause notes to hang most of the time when you include it in a player 'chain'. Was wondering if anyone found a palyer re that accidently eridicates this when palced before or after scales & chords?

less people going to gigs less musicians wanting to share musical equipment (like microphones) at gigs or even in recording studio i guess. I have noticed a slight reduction in musical equipment on amazon due to economy downturn. I managed to replace my broken nektar p6 with another one at a well re...

Re: Doing long ambient stuff. Tips?
Been doing this stuff for YEARS (1986 album had a 19 min song). I have a few approaches. One is to build/find a cool poly synth patch, and find a few chords or interesting scale or mode to build on (probably adding FX along the way). I've also built modular patches as a basis for a long ambient pie...

Re: recording cominators
Whatever internal sequencer is controling the note gate sequence in a run combi, when you identify it .Put a cv tap player above what its controlling and put the note gate cables in there instead. If the note gate is going into the combi note gate inputs ; stick the cv tap player over the combi and ...

Re: Synth vs. Rompler The Low down Pros & Cons
Dont Listen to Mr Figg whatever you do. He will only talk you into buying more romplers. He loves them , uses them in all his tracks, every single one. He dosn't use anything else but romplers for his sound designing. I personally think he's a secret salesman for rompler manufactueres. Awfull man. S...
