Re: [Hard Techno / EDM] Tweakallamy Nesta

Cool track Heikki!

Sounds very complex yet stays smooth to listen to and is very bouncy when it kicks in, it's a very tight mix, that kick and arpeggio hit so hard.

I like the old skool vocal in there : D

Nice one!!

Re: (Electronic rock, krautrock) "Phoenix"

Great song I can hear exactly the theme you explain above, nice to hear that. :) Sounds very professional, as already mentioned there is no percussion and you notice it because there is just a kick. I like the video it is interesting and helps keep my focus. It already sounds very good for something...

Re: (DnB) Project Firestarta

Really trippy I like how you worked on the vocal sample to make it fit and it does fit in a really unexpected way. Ain't nobody heard nufin like that before

*Edit - the new direction it took sounds great!!

Re: [IDM/Experimental/Groove] Whirring Waves

The Whirring Waves track is cool I like that is has a serious and cool vibe, maybe minimal is not for me but I felt the lead (the whooshing pad sound) was a bit too much as it played nearly the whole time and I didn't get much break from it, it sounds nice, but a break would serve well even just one...

I really enjoyed this one. It's very interesting to hear your style coming through on a device using samples... I agree 100%. @Tritone - Really fun energy, and I hear your Prodigy influenced sound but it's completely different, crazy. I like that is has a hip hop / break dance kinda of vibe and fee...

ps: again. i know it is not polished and mint and all that fancy things according to postproduction... but i like it and it's filthiness and rawness. ps: later, if i will start to produce more commercial music in my life, i shall consider your comments about mixing and mastering. about bass heay so...

Just finished the chords video, really motivated to get to work with a much better understanding of things. Benedict has compressed the information very well. Would recommend anyone on this forum dive into this series.

Re: HUGE hieroglyphs in Greenland!

These are formed via magnetic fields pulling different minerals and metals together. The elements of earth intermingling with the cosmic magnetic fields and forming order out of chaos. People discover these. No one knew where these structures came from so they attributed them to gods, etc. These st...

Re: KRAFTWERK

Kraftwerk is playing in my town in November. They've only played in New Zealand a couple of times before and i couldn't afford to see them. I squealed like a 12 year old and possibly I pooped myself a little. I think as music fans unless you live is some big city that gets big acts visiting all the...

Also could we have the ability to be able to @ tag our friends so that if we are somewhere lost in the forum, and we would like them to come and take a look - that they can come and have a look or maybe help us find the way out lol?? 😁👍✌️ That's a great idea, and here's a thumbs up for the thread! ...

Benedict should consider coming back on here and plugging his series himself. He'd probably get more response.
He doesn't need to be here and that is not what this thread is about, besides, he is doing very well for himself and probably doesn't have the time. :puf_bigsmile:

He took the huff about 18 months ago in this post: https://forum.reasontalk.com/viewtopic.php?p=591652#p591652 I'm always torn on his videos. There is usually some good content but his presentation style drives me nuts. It's a bit slow-paced and sometimes more than a little lecturing. I'm not so su...

Song writing series crash course

Our friend Benedict is making a songwriting series with the intention of it being a crash course (short and sweet). It's a great opportunity for a refresher for those more experienced or for one to briefly learn all the elements of music production. I wish I had this kind of direction many years ago...

What happened to the 'midi cover' in the title, that made it sit better, this is upsetting. Did you change anything or just load the midi file? What do you mean? I have made midi from scratch listening to the Prodigy original. That's funny. Maybe comedy could be your thing. Using your logic, you co...
