Click here for a popup menu of automation parameters and to add an automation lane. You might have to look for Pitch Bend, the menu is different for each instrument.
Thank you! I was clicking in the wrong spot!! 🙃

Re: Thor automation

Thats if you do it manually on your keyboard controller from the beginning. If you right click on the pitch wheel and click Edit Automation it'll create a separate automation lane. Took me a while to figure out! Oh and you can also choose it from the drop down menu in the sequencer along with the m...

Re: Oldskool raves

It's funny to now talk about this and still only talk about events here in Australia and events in Europe / UK. Back in the day we used to sometimes discuss how we would like to travel and rave in other places, and it seemed pretty universal that nobody wanted to go to the USA and try it, and still ...

Re: Oldskool raves

My favorite place to be was always Fantasy Island in Skegness also referred to as the Pleasuredome here's an old video about the development of the site, it was massive and although quite a few events got held in the smaller zoo club on most weekends when a rave was held in the pyramid I was there....

Re: Oldskool raves

Promoter wise you could also look at the rain dance events as they were big back in the day. I seem to recall there was one called eclipse too which was quite big down south in UK. Dj wise there are loads who played to look out for. djs to try are dougal, force and styles, top buzz, Ellis dee, clar...

Oldskool raves

I really like listening to recordings of old raves like Helter Skelter (oldskool hardcore breakbeat techno with an MC). I find they can be great workout music or just very energetic in general. I am only aware of Fantazia, Helter Skelter, Nicky Blackmarket, and Dreamscape (thanks Billy+). Can anyone...

Re: Song writing series crash course

I am still enjoying the skills taught in the chords video, the idea of making a chord progression, smoothing it out using voicing (inversions etc), then using instruments to play around or on their designated notes from each chord, then adding the original chord progression as something like a pad i...

Re: Neural-Ink (post-downtempo/rock/idk)

I wrote a song about conspiracy theories. 🙃 Amazing, really blown away by it. It's insane and tidy at the same time. The merging of the gritty synth bass is just great, the way it plays next to that big pluck is so nice, I wanted to hear more of it or have it turned into a riff and repeated I liked...

Re: Dance Track Feedback Please

A breakdown, perhaps, it is a dance cover of an Oasis track so the structure is based on that obviously but maybe worth considering. Maybe some intro too, some repeated reversed mangled line from the song maybe? You do seem to have all the elements working together, an intro or breakdown could be a...

Re: Dance Track Feedback Please

Hi All! Calling all dance music producers. 2 years ago, I put together a good dance / electronic version of an Oasis track but want feedback. Something needs to happen to make the chorus stand out more. Maybe some strings? also might stereo widen it more and raise the volume very slightly. Maybe st...

Re: (Prodigy cover) Roma - Molotov B****

Well, I am a guy with disability. I have only one hand (and two arms). That's why I chose electronic music, lol. And the Prodigy is simply the most unique band/artist in electronic music. It's interesting to read the context here. Whether the music should be judged in light of this, I don't know. I...

Really cool how he breaks them all down, you can learn a lot from that or even get ideas / get inspired. Not sure how I would go if I could create those sounds, I might spend a lot of time doing just that!

...i think this music requires some patience, but the musical meaning will become accessible in the end. Yes I get the idea better now, maybe if it was at a party and people were dancing chilled out and relaxed they would hear it the way you intend, or just people expecting minimal music, cool tune...

Re: (RX1200 track) - In The Wild

Thanks. I was actually more inspired by this tune than any Prodigy material. It's an old Amiga 500 tune. They aren't very similar except for a few things: that rock edge, the low sample rate sound and their sample based nature. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8rm0eTagViU I actually have hopes of ma...

No. This is not a remix. It is my original music. Yes. I did use some .WAV samples in this song. It is half- half. Thanks. It sounds pretty amazing, this is why I was asking about it. When you say it is half .wav samples I really don't know how to interpret the music with the idea that it is your o...
