Re: Default browser button folder option?
Thats the thing though. Specific devices just don't seem to be remembering. I have to navigate to the right folder every damn time. I've been doing it for yonks and finally decided to ask for help. Create a folder and put shortcuts to all of your favorite folders inside of it. Then save the folder ...

Re: Default browser button folder option?
Ok that didn't work. RE's are loading their default patches now, but if I then hit the browser button it still opens a random folder. ReGroove mixer just opened up my users>documets folder, not the patches folder. Yeah, it's not this. Simply navigate to the right folder and Reason will "remember it...

Re: Default browser button folder option?
Oh snap that's the reason? Ticking that means I'm back to doing right click > reset device every time I load an RE. I guess I'll have to pick my poison. Thank you!

Default browser button folder option?
Ok I've been living with this for far too long now and I'm sure its user error so hopefully somebody here can help me. If I use the ReGroove mixer for example, and click the browse button, the browser opens but it doesn't open at the groove mixers folder. It will open at desktop. I'll then need to n...

Where even is the online help page? Do they mean the support tab on the website? Or the downloadable PDF manual?

Re: Strange error when exporting files in AIFF vs. MP3
Is it the very first or last note of the sequence?
I don't know the answer but as a workaround you could try to 'bounce in place' the problematic track before exporting.

Re: Reason Studios appears to be silent
Just got a REAL email from ReasonStudios mailing list with the tagline 'Curious to know what we were up to?'. Just as I was getting excited thinking this was a new roadmap or something I open it up and it's a link to a blog post to their shenanigans in Amsterdam. https://www.reasonstudios.com/blog/r...

Re: Assuming there's going be one, what you think is coming in Reason 13?
If there is one thing I could ask for is fixing this - some of the panels are "convex" vs. others are "flat"; some have gaps, some don't; and they're different widths. I can't stand it ;) :D master.png Haha. Those devices are built in different factories with slightly different tolerances. Just lik...

Re: Any news on new stuff for reason?
There's probably a long list of ideas on a whiteboard somewhere in reason headquarters.
I'd like to hear what's next too.
I don't need anything in particular, but I like reason and it's fun to know what's cooking.

Re: Assuming there's going be one, what you think is coming in Reason 13?
It's hard to imagine where Reasonstudios will go from here. Maybe they'll revisit some of the things that were mentioned on previous roadmaps but were then de-prioritiesed, like the smart browser. Sequencer enhancements were listed as 'under investigation' on the very first road map, but then never ...

Re: Kontakt 7. Is it worth it?
Just picked up Kontakt 7. I've been curious about it forever and was able to activate the cross-grade offer by registering a free product to native-access (Heavyocity - foundations chior). That stacked with Black Friday deals let me grab it for $150 Aussie dollars. Still downloading so I cant say if...

Re: Universal Audio LUNA: Free to all Mac users
I had a problem with UA Connect when I tried to install the freebie LA-2A compressor. It was complaining about Pace or something. I didn't solve it - I didn't really need the compressor anyway. That was my experience also. After installing Pace, iLok and UA Connect, all for a free VST, when it didn...

Re: MusicTech: Niklas Agevik talks Reason
Some of the mods on this forum really need to think about stepping down imho. I for one appreciate that there are mods like EnochLight here that seem to promote rationalism. Just take a look at this thread. Reason CEO says basically nothing in some magazines fluff piece and everyone starts to disse...

Re: "Low-hanging-fruit" feature requests compilation
And some form of key/scale indication on the piano roll.
Currently I need to split the screen space in half so that I can keep an eye on the chord detector RE while I'm noodling about in the piano-roll.
Could be as simple as a a highlight overlay on they notes or something.

I'd like a hokey to toggle 'bypass' on whatever device is selected/highlighted.
