Oh actually I've had really good results from AudioThing's Reels using the delay function. But (the delay) is mono only.

I have Ekss TE TapeEcho, but it never really clicked for me, so I rarely use it. I don't really like it's modulation (Chorus) or the reverb for whatever reason.

BTW I was literally just reminded that Kong has it's own tape echo (presumably based on The Echo).

Yeah I'll be honest and say I rarely use The Echo, just because I have a bunch of VSTs which for tape, have a more immediate colouration. AB Transpose by Tonic Mint gets used the most I'd say. It's a great, easy, free way to non-destructively try different octaves. I also get a bit of use out of Scales & Chords when I need to stick to a specific tuning. I don't use it for chords that much but I wish it had a time-based offset for each...

Unfortunately in a situation like this, pointing these products out to the company could likely have them removed, as they probably "forgot" they were even there and don't want to worry about having to provide support for them.

Just to really rule out any kind of scaling, what zoom level is Reason 12 being rendered at? ie: Options > Application Zoom.

Also, does changing that help at all? (it shouldn't matter I know, but trouble shooting sometimes requires trying everything)

Is your OS (Windows etc) doing any kind of scaling? That looks like when the OS scales the resolution from the native resolution of the graphics card / app.

I've experienced glitchy waveform graphics for years to be honest. Just assumed it was my system. Sometimes when I drag the start or end of a long clip the waveform won't display properly.

Though I did think they addressed this at some point. What version are you on?

If you haven't tried it out, I really like the MiniFreak V plugin - but I already have that. The only other synth I'd be interested in is the ACID V as I don't have any 303 clones. The other Augmented plugs would be nice, but nothing I need or necessarily want. Likewise for the 2 rebuilds .. ehh.

Want:
- At least 1 new device included as a native device ie: not a separate paid for RE
- Further options for the hi-res update ie: options to zoom only the rack view
- Different fade types when doing a quick edge drag on audio clips

Remember when "Propellerheads" released a fully functional version of Europa you could play in a web browser? I thought that was a (successful) test for some interesting expansion. Seems to be gone now that they've changed to Reason Studios.

A much I I love the ambient stuff I'm gonna give this a miss. But Chris if you're reading this, is adding audio in to this a possibility? - or how about a new FX only device based on these FX? I think the reverbs and the grain engine with delay is just excellent.

Think I might grab this just for the FX/Ambient patches and sounds. I'm not a keyboard player really though so it's mostly going to go to waste. I do wish there was audio input to take advantage of the effects with other sound sources.
