Re: 90 fantastic patches were deleted in Reason 9!
Wackawonk Lead... is the best WW.png Makes me realise there are many more sounds deleted from Reason! Can not imagine why the Props have not simply swapped the Line 6 devices with Amp devices. Yes, a bit of work, maybe additional EQ and additional Impulse Responses... but deleting patches...! I now...

It would be nice to redo these patches but legally we're not allowed to do so.

Re: 90 fantastic patches were deleted in Reason 9!
You can still access previous Factory Sound Banks from newer versions of Reason, correct? I think their removal from the new banks is just so new users aren't browsing 90 Combinator patches that contain bypassed Softube amps. It makes sense if you know what you are looking for... [EDIT] And I just ...

Re: 90 fantastic patches were deleted in Reason 9!
I like Twang and Crunch of Softube. Rock is way too much compressed and Lead is simply way over the top for me. Bass is wat too heavy in Softube modeling. Cabs are ok.

Re: 90 fantastic patches were deleted in Reason 9!
I gotta say, while I understand there were probably licensing reasons as to why they had to go, I'm still kinda bummed out. I really don't get on with the Softube stuff at all. Kuassa is cool but it's a bit too fiddly. I liked how immediate the Line 6 devices were. Pick an amp -> go. Lots of choice...

90 fantastic patches were deleted in Reason 9!
I just found out that not only did Propellerhead delete the Line 6 devices from Reason 9, they also deleted 2 folders of lovely effect patches. Most of these patches, Combinators patches, make use of a Line 6 device, but not all of them are depending on it. What a strange decision to delete these 90...

Bounce to MIDI disappears sometimes... weird bug
Has anyone noticed that the Bounce to MIDI option disappears sometimes? Happens a lot but haven't find a way why and how to reproduce it.

Re: I've lost my mojo.
Don't listen to others. Don't start comparing. You wrote this "I love those songs." Well that is enough. Fuck everything else. Just listen to your heard what you like and deliver. Good is relative. Some stuff I LOVE some other people HATE. It's not even good or bad, it's love or hate. We can never s...

Re: Reason 4 guitar: minimize intermodulation
It was a bit of a re-discovery when I realised that in synths such as Thor and Malström the distortion is per-voice, which prevents intermodulation unless patching is made to feed the saturation stage with a mono signal. Yes indeed! I also love Thor's Shaper for guitar. But on synth patches it's su...

Reason 4 guitar: minimize intermodulation
Intermodulation adds frequencies that are out of tune. An issue? Maybe. I have made a blogpost for it http://melodiefabriek.com/blog/minimize ... odulation/

Re: Kuassa 1.1.0 Update Now Available
Just curious, but would it be worthwhile having the oversampling switch on the front? One might assume that if you are working on a CPU heavy song, you might start bouncing in place certain tracks...Or I guess you could leave it off until export if it's an issue? But what if you were to instead wan...

I am not convinced that copy protection will cause "Better, safer income for developers." It's probably the other way around.

Re: Refill designers should move to making RE's only.
ROMpler RE's like Hydronexius and many others are great tools. I think lots (all?) of refills should be converted into RE's. Better, safer income for developers. I think it will happen. I hope it will happen. What are the main obstacles that keep refill devs to do so? I don't agree. A Combinator ca...

Re: Possible "coloration" of SSL mixer vs. 14:2 mixer?
anything below -48 db will be none existent for all of you. or detune a whole track by 0.5 cents. no one will hear that. all mixers in Reason are uncolered. like any spider in Reason. super simple to prove and have been proven over and over again. don't tweak the volume. don't add a compressor. just...
