Latest rsTouch update “pushes” Reason performance control to new heights.

Today we released another major rsTouch update, version 2.7.0. This release focuses on enhancing rsTouch’s existing performance capabilities through two additions, one similar to a popular “grid style” 8 by 8 array of pads, and a new page ...

Re: iPad Controllers

... do you mean by "requires the addition of 2 or 3 control surfaces to cover the majority of Reason devices?" Let me take a stab at this. tl;dr rsTouch uses three Reason control surface. One is dedicated to the Main Mixer, one is exclusively used for device support, and the third is for performance ...

There's two that I know of: RetouchDuo and rsTouch and I've found that they're both a little tricky to set up (namely the MIDI over WiFi). rsTouch has its own dedicated UI designed to complement Reason and RetouchDuo requires an additional app ...

I have both of the above mentioned. rsTouch is my fav of those two and feels like a better controller to me. I tend to use the Lemur app more though...I have a bunch of customer Lemur control layouts that I use. It's basically the software ...

... stupid handing all the session state management manually between apps. I don't own any of the existing reason controller apps, which I like too (rsTouch Pro, OrangeAid, reTouchDuo), but Lemur, which I really like for experimenting with controller settings.

Seems there are couple of the more recent popular ones missing :) Love your product by the way.
Thanks for the kind words about rsTouch.

What REs would you like to see us add to list of REs for possible support?

Re: Properllerhead at NAAM Show 2016!

I'm counting mobile as having to do with mobility, so rsTouch and a laptop is no more mobile than a MIDI controller and a laptop. What makes mobile a thing is the portability not the device it runs on. The only difference is multitouch, which for most ...

... their approach. Idiotic, in fact. All that said, for me - I just use my iPad as an additional tool in the studio. It runs Delora Software's rsTouch and offers me a nice touch-friendly way to control Reason's mixer at a distance. I use my phone as a scratch pad to practice vocal ideas with ...

... ReTouchDuo to control things and it works very well. but having a native app would be much nicer than having to fuss with all the setup needed. rsTouch from Delora Software is much better than TouchOSC/ReTouch Duo IMHO. I own both but haven't touched the latter since switching to rsTouch. http://www.delora.com/delora_products/rstouch/rstouch.html

Reason iPad control surface, rsTouch, updated to 2.6.3

This release fixes a bug that was introduced in last week's 2.6.2 release that prevented adjustment of the ReMix (Mixer 14:2, aka "Mackie") device FADER panel’s rightmost channel controls, as well as its master fader. The update is available for download from the iTunes App Store. There are no codec...

I was thinking about buying a Samsung S6 but might by a iPhone 6S instead. Google (Android) doesn't give a rat's ass about your privacy (especially seeing as how "you" are their product). For all of Apple's criticisms, at least they take privacy seriously. I'd go with the iPhone 6S for that alone.....
