Re: ReSpire RE back in the shop - Still on sale!
Ok after many many hours playing with Spire, I'm wondering.. is this the "One Synth to Rule Them All". I've barely touched the surface and I'm not a 'synth guy' really, but Spire really feels like the kind of plug in that can do just about everything sound wise if one got under the hood and tweaked...

Re: ReSpire RE back in the shop - Still on sale!
As a Reason 9 owner, I'll be a bit annoyed if ReSpire ends up with a less-than-ideal interface just to keep it backwards-compatible with people who can't use SDK 2.5 yet. I feel that would be rather backwards thinking, were it not for the fact that lots of <9 users have probably bought it by now. I...

Re: ReSpire RE back in the shop - Still on sale!
I think all of the free packs are already included in the ReSpire fsb. Sorry - I didn't mean refills. Only that all of the preset packs now come in ReSpire format so you don't need a converter if you want to buy them now. (Although the converter is still in the works.) Not all preset packs are avai...

Re: Free VSTs that don't Suck!
I support avasopht's idea. I didn't care about VST before. Now, I am spending a LOT of time on the web with this topic. I'll spend more time testing all these VST goodies. A structured way to list the different VST by categories, and most important, the feedback of the different VST testers between ...

Re: Looking for Audio Interface recommendations
I appreciate your feedback Ostermilk. Thanks. VST support will enable the link between Reason and Massive without the need for a Loopback. I will keep my money for a faster PC.

Re: Looking for Audio Interface recommendations
The Apollo Twin is too expensive (overdimensioned) for my needs. BTW, I just noticed my laptop has a firewire input

Re: Looking for Audio Interface recommendations
It seems I am in sync. I want to change my Audio card and identified my perfect fit: Focusrite Saffire Pro 14. Specially because it has Loopback, the goal beeing to use Reason with Massive standalone. I tried many virtual cables with no success so far and it seems so easy with loopback. The problem ...

Re: Best Midi Controller for Reason?
I would suggest you clearly identify your needs (your spec). This will help you to create a short list. As a starting point you can use remote as already mentionned. Also, search here, in this forum, for potential problems with Reason. I did this exercise for a while and came to the conclusion that ...
