For Mac users....,go into applications folder, then open up utilities. Click on disk utility, click on McIntosh HD then click on "Repair Disk Permissions"

Ok I just repaired permissions & restarted. I got 20secs with multicore rendering & 13 with hyperthreading on

I did that 9.5 benchmark stress test. I get 13 secs using multi-core audio rendering. Doesn't play at all when "hyper-threading" is enabled. So in this case the performance is worse with hyperthreading. I don't get it?

What makes it a bit confusing is the wording. When I think of "audio rendering" I thinking of bouncing/exporting audio. So, I thought it was only using multicores when exporting/rendering audio. Kinda sucks that they didn't do a RE/VST combo deal, but I'd rather pay 59 bucks now (in its current state) and wait a couple weeks for the bells and whistles,than pay 189 bucks down the line. A deal's a deal, and this seems to be a good 1.

Great sounding syth BUT it is cpu HEAVY!!! Even on low cpu setting on the back(no difference) I even put the buffer size on my asio card at max.
