With all due respect to the community I am very disappointed with the direction Reason has gone. I come to this forum hoping for good news and usually leave pretty sad due to the behavior of Reason Studios.

Subtractor makes sense visually and it sounds great. Most of the others are beyond my understanding and wind up taking lots of my time trying to figure them out when I should have been making music.

I don't really care about a new synth, surely we have enough 'gear'. I'd rather see improvements to the program myself. I'd be more hyped if they announced a new Combinator. I completely agree and I have to wonder if there is a single Reason user out there that wants this over program improvements....

the deed is done folks- I bought Ableton Suite. Fair is fair- they did their homework and became the world's premier DAW. Too many people I work with use it so I couldn't avoid it any longer. As a Logic and Ableton guy I will still use Reason. As a plug-in.

Assuming this is temporary, hopefully, I'd like to see Reason mature treating add on content such as RE's, VST's, sound packs, refills, etc, in the way its done in professional DAWs. Whether I am in Ableton or Logic, or using NI content, owned customer content is handled in a clear organized manner....

I am SO excited about this synth and since there's a Linux version I am planning to build a Pi400 DAW system around it just to see what it can do. This is obviously a developer worth supporting.
