Yep just install the full version from scratch. Intro remains on the system and you can uninstall it as you wish.

A deal on Quad note gen. or Lectric Panda PSQ-1684 would get my attention for sure.

Re: Instrument Sampler + Recycle

I am one of the crazies that dropped the money for Recycle recently. I am dealing with REXing up spoken dialog and the lack of threshold makes the built in Reason support useless for that task. That sounds like an interesting project! I'd love to hear the results. Obviously the bounce to rex functi...

Re: MIDI Routing

No one gave a crap about hardware when Reason v1 came out DAWs were the future. Now everyone is buying hardware again. Loads of cool affordable devices available. Reason could play great with this stuff but its surprisingly rooted in the box. Gotta keep up with the times!

Instrument Sampler + Recycle

I love the built in samplers for instruments. I do a lot of resampling of synths etc. But the sampler window is very bare bones, looks like an afterthought. My earth shattering, ground breaking suggestion is to revamp it and combine it with a new version of ReCycle. Sample and slice in one device! T...

Re: Clip launch via Kong?

I do agree. I would love to see Kong boosted with a ton of new features, but you can pretty much do this with Dr. Octorex if you set your midi controller to toggle the channels.

Re: You wake up as the CEO of Propellerhead. What would you do?

I would make Reason easy to crack so that teenagers in their bedrooms start using it early and then then use it forever more cus it's what they know, probably paying for it when they get older and grow a conscience or cus they go pro. I would say to my gaping mouthed collegues, It didn't do Ableton ...

Re: Probability Trigs in Kong

Thanks! I think Kong deserves a big v2.0 update with some killer new features. Like a full featured integrated sampler and more versatile drum synths. I wish Props were more interested in pumping up the core product than doing a full rewrite for vst support... blah blah, sorry, rant over 😂

Probability Trigs in Kong

Hi, I've just done a new video that shows how you can adjust the probability of sample trigs in Kong without any RE's or Players. Check it out and say hi! :reason:

Complex -1 for total noobs

Hi there, I have put together a video tutorial on getting started with Complex -1 for anyone who might feel a bit intimidated by modular and all the crazy presets. This is a very basic introduction to designing your own patches that will hopefully make the modular work flow easier to get in to. :rea...

Setting out some boundaries and sticking to them till something comes out works great. Also open your ears to the music you love and try and capture some of that magic in your own work.

Re: What and when was the last Refill you bought?

I just got Little Big Tonic. A collection of samples from the Pocket Operater Tonic with loads of patches made in MicroTonic. Really high quality samples, I'm very pleased with them. Sample packs are not usually my thing but I couldn't afford the MicroTonic vst so this is the next best thing.

Convert midi notes to CC values?

I would like to use one of the melodic sequencers on Beatstep pro to sequence fx automation. I think if I could get Reason to see midi notes as cc values then the notes could set the fx values for each activated step. Any ideas if this is possible?
