Re: Reason has a new spokeswoman!
Let me be more clear, the odd "Fuck" or "Shit" or something is fine as long as it's not overbearing as it was in this video. "Nigga" however I have absolutely ZERO tolerance for spoken by anyone anytime - especially around my kids. I find it a rotten word to say be it by whites or blacks, regardles...

Re: Reason has a new spokeswoman!
Wow what are you guys arguing about? The fact that someone posted a video here with a lady swearing up a storm to make a point that she makes beats with Reason and is annoyed at Fruity Loopers dissing Reason, or people disliking it? I'm the only one who actually posted about her 'message' with regar...

Who is the guy who voted no?
<--- This guy! Propellerhead should focus entirely on creating new devices and keep DAW stuff to the "other guys". /troll /sarcasm

Re: Reason has a new spokeswoman!
Sum: Much needless swearing, too thin skin... A for Enthusiasm? Reason was never shit on for making beats except by perhaps the typical internet dummy poster. Hell I use it almost exclusively for ballads, talk about niche production in an EDM monster. Besides, Fruity Loops was a computer kids toy fo...

Re: Sample-accurate scratching with Grain - Yes/No?
I've been digging the manual for info, googling, searching the forum (everyone was scratching surfaces and various body parts); but in the end: I'm looking for at least a somewhat realistic scratching possibility. I tried the tape-freeze combo and manually modulating the "position" (resulting in so...

Re: Sample-accurate scratching with Grain - Yes/No?
I doubt it with Grain, I tried doing several creative things with it during beta and found it was limited in many ways. Have to turn the precision up to max to get it to even be remotely close when recording any positioning in Grain. I made a fairly in-depth thread on wanting to "Play" the Sample in...

Re: Reason without VST plugins is much better (poll)
I can't figure out many reasons someone would disable VST altogether. I use midiloopback even now after we have native VST, however still have vst enabled for pure convenience.

Re: What's YOUR grain ammo?
I use the heck out of The Mangle I love the Mangle too!! Although it is abandonware, I will be using it for some time to come. It is great on CPU utilization. I wished the author would give or sell the source code for further development. This was ahead of its time. http://sound-guru.com/software/m...

Re: Propellerheads might be waking up finally. Not that it means anything yet.
VST support really killed REs for me, so I'm really curious to see what they're going to do with REs. VST support made me realize how much I love REs.. I think you're using the wrong DAW. I agree, never had a need for VST support, I spent years using midiloopback for the few items I needed, still d...

Re: What's YOUR grain ammo?
I use the heck out of The Mangle which is similar to Grain. Experimentation is insanely enjoyable, I'll mess around for hours and barely blink, however I find the best usage is when I'm creating a song and get a specific idea in my head that granular sysnthesis does easily and well, like drones, pad...

Re: Propellerheads might be waking up finally. Not that it means anything yet.
The worst thing a company can do is try to reinvent their wheel, unless that wheel is broken and no one cares about it anymore. I feel its taken far too long for Propellerheads to address what many want from Reason, and certain decisions that actively step on RE Dev efforts haven't helped at all, no...

Re: Load all RNS to default layout option? Yes please.
It was a minor issue for me before, but I used my default layout for a lower resolution and was just used to constantly playing musical chairs with the limited Reason real estate of 3 necessary windows (look at my older posts you'll see how annoying the musical chair window thing was to me). But now...

Re: Rigs updated to v3!
I have a hard time finding value in any of the Rigs stuff: they're not something I'd buy, even if I didn't own a single one of the devices in the bundle.
Good for others I suppose who like a potpourri of misc devices to slog through, but not my bag.

Load all RNS to default layout option? Yes please.
I haven't figured out a way to simply keep the layout I use in my default RNS to apply to every RNS. Now that I'm full on 4k, having to resize and resave every RNS I ever made is a huge pain, especially as I refine it here and there I have to keep opening and resaving. It would be such an easy thing...

Yep, one smaller system drive, other physical drives for your files/installs. Clone your system drive once in awhile and you're all set.

I was ust thinking since i understood, that Resonans requires a good filled spectrum as a source sound, what could better fit htat need than Parsec (or any other additve synht)? And i must say, I LOVE IT! Check it out (some random notes, a lil bit extra delay and reverb): aGFr5ht3 Ahh my favorite P...

Re: Fritz Request
Randomize is a feature rarely offered, immensely fun, yet often far more useful and inspiring than turning knobs ourselves. I'm all for more random everything all the time. I came up with a "Randomizer" RE which you'd hook up to a device, map the things you want randomized, and go to town - it was ...

Re: Propellerheads might be waking up finally. Not that it means anything yet.
However, maybe this piano guy needs a better piano instead of a grain engine. Maybe that orchestral guy wants and updated Orkester instead of Europa. Or maybe that synth guy wants Europa? Shouldn't those all be choices? Isn' that what the Rack Extension tech is for? By forcing a particular instrume...

Psuper, can we please stop pretending you don't know what I'm talking about? It's not about the word being used, it's about the intentions My intentions, words, and meanings are crystal clear -- I feel props, their users, and their RE devs are better served with a shift on their updating strategy. ...

Re: Propellerheads might be waking up finally. Not that it means anything yet.
But if you're saying that Europa and grain shouldn't be included in Reason as stock because Subtractor and a Combinator are enough, then you are defining it. No, I didn't say that at all not even remotely. And so I don't sound too smart, I simply refer you to my prior statements in this thread. Not...
