Re: Objekt has arrived!
It was cool to see Ben feature Objekt, and he seems to feel pretty warm about it. That said, I was a little shocked when he (at first) claimed it wasn't available as a VST3 inside of any DAW. I was like... Ben... what rock have you been living under for the past 4 years?!!! But then he re-cov...

Why Parsec is higher priced ?
I know there’s been 2 versions of it, v2 being not free for existing users, but it’s not a good reason and it’s long time ago. I wonder why Parsec is 1/3 higher priced than any synth by RS. It sure is a great synth but Objekt’s too. Perhaps there are some behind the scene licensing. Anybody in the k...

Novation sl mk3 is also a good contender. I’ve been using it with Reason till it’s been released and enjoy it. Not as completely Reason aware as the Panorama but I prefer the keybed and overall look.

Re: KORG Legacy Collection update & sale
I can’t stand the bright & shiny UI of gForce synths (re or VST). If Korg Odyssey were an RE we could modulate nearly every parameter and have the same flexibility as Oddity 3.

Re: What do you like most about your own music?
Interesting question. For me it's perhaps the sound design elements of my songs, how a simple sound can be so interesting and change with modulation plus my tunes make me nod my head which is something😂 If I am honest what I most like is the progression of my music after making so many tracks and t...

Re: Roland SH101 as a rack?
Yeah, I suppose I can make a combinator preset for one my vsts, but was looking for a native rack. Its a shame we don't see many emulators as racks, I have always thought that Reason can be one of the best platform for that. It should have been ! Right from the start, it seems obvious that the rack...

Re: Roland SH101 as a rack?
What would you say is the closet rack to the Roland SH101in sound and look? I find the ES-01 to be the closest, but its not exactly the SH101.. I have many vst which are excellent emulations, but I was wondering if there is any specific rack for that. And if we are at it, also wondering if there ar...

Re: Objekt has arrived!
This makes sense, real shame they can't split the DAW because they would sell a ton of individual REs and not just Objekt. I don't see why they couldn't ship the whole RRP thing but with the built-in devices disabled. Same code base. They could even choose to leave some of the simpler devices enabl...

Re: Objekt has arrived!
Still trialing Objekt it’s obvious it can make realistic « acoustic » instruments or « object ». The « object » sections are great if not easy to « master » for me now. The modal section is quite basic however : having used Plaits, Rings and Elements (thanks to VCV), I’ve enjoyed the « morphing » ap...

Re: To Screw or Not to Screw…
:( Objekt-mounted.png It looks much better with rack rails ! Even without the screws. I wonder why they went with the « void » option I'm trailing Objekt atm and wow ! But still I'm annoyed by the lack of rack rails : it's just impossible that somebody would cut them in his/her rack when placing a ...

Re: (Electronica) Lines
Thanks for commenting ! I like the « album concept » (and « concept albums » too !)
Each track takes me months too, but it seems that when I’ve got 4 tracks « not so bad » and think about « releasing » them, new tracks come quite quicker and I add them and have what resembles an « album »

Re: [IDM/Experimental] Chizmata - Inside the Backdrop (Parsec Album)
Those tracks lead you to some arctic places ! The textures are very good and inspiring. Never too late to the party with (great) synths. I’m still undecided about Parsec, I can’t trial it again and I’m saying to myself that first, I still have to explore Europa !

Thanks for your comments ! Allégresse is 90% Europa and yes it’s simple since I’ve just added layers to keep attention but not reached it enough.
8 o’clock started as layers of Pigments and ended up with Reason when RRP became my most used VST

Hi ! Thanks to RRP and HD graphics, I can use Reason inside of Live ! I’ve made a new album full of Reason synths and FXs, I can share on this forum ! I’m interested in having feedback on those tracks, your comments are welcomed ! I hope you’ll enjoy the music ! https://maretranquillitatis.bandcamp....

Re: Reason Sequencer vs Other DAWs
I continue to notice how Reason is often not included in DAW reference lists or 3rd party product DAW target lists. It seems a shame but, apparently, it doesn't have the same popularity as other DAWs. I was recently made aware of this fact again after I purchased an Elgato Stream Deck XL controller...

Re: What are your top five devices at the moment?
For me it's 1. Echo - Use it on every track, all the time. There is still no replacement. 2. Thor - I've created 100s of patches over the years and they are still used. I know my way around it like my back pocket. I wish a new version with the same interface but some extra oversampling and addition...
