Re: Album Discussion: 'a sound escape' (by Libraquaricorn)

Very interesting review and I like the progression in your presentation skills. Nice to hear the callers are still alive too. I originally thought the criticism was a bit unfair considering this project was produced by the artists and for the artists before your alleged influence but everything come...

I just tried this out today. I can't believe my ears.

It's frikkin' brilliant. And you can modify the wave tables.

How is this free???
You must be talking about Rostnomo which is only a free sneak peak at Nostromo!

I realize they may function differently, but if both get you from "point A'" to "point B", that's really all that matters.
Sure and this can be said for many goods. Twelve grain bread is not the same as seven grain bread but it's all good if we are enjoying our sandwiches. :bread:

Re: Oeksound Soothe

How does Neutron do something similar? I thought there was just a dynamic EQ? Even with dynamic EQ, there is a process of honing in on problematic areas with precision, which is the whole point of Soothe. I understand the comparison if the utilization is fairly basic, such as de-essing a vocal, but...

Re: Oeksound Soothe

For ~$173 USD it's a hard sell for me, since I already own Neutron and it can do something similar. If I didn't own Neutron (and wasn't considering upgrading to Neutron 2 for ~$199 USD), I might consider this though. How does Neutron do something similar? I thought there was just a dynamic EQ? Even...

Re: Oeksound Soothe

Just got an email from Oeksound official list that Soothe is gonna be on sale for $99 later this month and then they're going to release a new product, Spiff, before going back to improve Soothe. Can we please update the thread when it goes on sale? I didn't receive the email and I definitely don't...

Re: (Trap/Drug dealer music) Dust Moses ft Mdot and Fresh Loot - Fast Life

I'm glad you made the differentiation between EDM trap and original trap music but this isn't the kind of trap music I know. Your melody is severely lacking any feel of tension and I recommend working with more semitones. The composition is crowded; production steals from the vocals which are most i...

AFAIR there is a Resonator in Kong. How does it compare to it?
More control and precision in kHs with different options. Note values are pretty important to me. Kong is fairly elementary although I haven't used it much.

Re: Corey Feldman takes on Hollywood pedophilia

See OP? No one gives a f### about Hollywood's predators. As long as people push their political agenda and use children as their pawns, nothing else matters. No one cares about Corey or what he's trying to do. People love Hollywood. If not in a tiny thread on a tiny forum, why believe he has a chan...

Re: Review: nanoBots Album

Ok I will just have to accept the low fan setting as just being a matter of circumstance instead of being a direct decision. I understood the functionality of the Swiffer Camcorder™ pretty quickly and it certainly does spice up the presentation. It is actually something very Doctor-esque as if you'r...

Re: (Indie) Once For Luck feat. Reason Pianos

Hi! Great vibe and I really like the depth of this track. I must say I feel like the drums aren't fitting into the feel and mix of the track. Lots of highs and attack to the drum timbres - also pretty dry, as if they are trying to steal the show from the other elements.

Great contributions to the Reasontalk community! I haven't listened to the album but I agree with the ear candy description just based off your review which was obviously well-executed. Re: Moon Bathing In Death Valley (Techno)

It's really interesting to see, that the very first loop you chose to include in your track entitled "124 bpm drum loop1," ended up being a huge reason why I like this song. At first it did not sound like much, but you tweaked it giving it that dark PL treatment. It evolved into something much more...

I really appreciate the enthusiasm here. The video was indeed pretty great! Hey Mr. Tomb maybe you should start a Fiverr profile and have people pay you to create video montages for them. There is an issue with copyright content of course but you can go with royalty free footage across the board. I ...

I screen-captured my track if anybody is interested. I don't expect anybody to sit there for three and a half hours watching me screw around but it might be worthy of a skippy walkthrough. My original plan was to record commentary as well but I just can't do that. I get too focused and move too quic...

Re: Do you RE subscribers get any music done?

Interesting topic and I am in a weird situation with the subscription model. I started a $9 subscription because my upcoming album will include tracks I completed with Proton for which I no longer have a trial. This alone makes it worth it for me as being able to go back and open the tracks I did is...
