It DEFINITELY adds to the startup time.

I went a little nuts on the Black Friday sale and got a few REs and a gang of refills.
It takes an extra 10-15 seconds or so to load up than it used to. I'm on a fairly fast machine, but it was immediately noticeable.

Excellent stuff. I sincerely advise you shop at their eBay page, because everything is SUBSTANTIALLY cheaper (ie. $9.99 vs $29 on the prop shop).
