Re: This new "thing" RS working on, will it be included in R11?
I just hope that anyone who actually goes into the props layer, Says the need of a new or updated combinator. Or a Thor2.0 I’d love to see a new version of Thor alongside the old. Wavetable osc. With user tables and a built in bend +/- knob Sampler oscillator to play basic samples FM pair Multi osc ...

Re: Music as therapy
You’re going to think of your friend no matter what man. Of course you are. Just do it. Think of him. Allow yourself to feel whatever it is you feel and recognise it and accept it as a feeling. I don’t mean to sound like some sort of new age therapist but being in the feeling and accepting it for w...

Re: Music as therapy
Sorry that you've lost a friend. Acceptance will take a while but it will be shorter if you don't suppress your feelings too much. For me music can intensify or distract my feelings depending on the type of music. When my friend died I allowed myself to have times when I listened to the music we li...

Re: Music as therapy
Sorry to hear about your loss . Making music is very therapeutic for me. Once I get in the zone it takes my mind away from everything else in the world. It’s a weird thing for me. It helps in a way for sure! But when i play keys, and embrace the more musical side. That’s when I get off course. I fi...

Music as therapy
The past few days have been the hardest time of my 26 years on this earth. My best friend that I grew up with had an accident and is now gone :/ Basically he was the only person there for me when ever needed. He had moved a few states away and had an office setting job. This job was a big part in hi...

no one has this? I have it. Got it via rewards. I don’t use it as much as I’d like to. I wish there were in depth videos explains this units workflow lol I know it has mad potential but I use uhbik G for those sounds However, I know when I did use it. It was really fun to make FX sounds. I just wis...

(request)Aligator mk2 idea
Aligator is such a cool unit. however, i wish the effects had more parameters. they should add a phaser frequency knob, maybe a comb filter with positive/negative polarity. maybe a band reject filter? the filters should have drop downs where we get a selection of unique filter slots this could be so...

Re: [Shell rant] So who should buy the R studio?
If it wasn’t ableton. We’d get bought by waves, Logic, or some plugin developer But I think ableton would jump on that first. They usually work with the props/they seem to be friends. Look at the updates that come out for each version The past 3 updates have almost gone hand and hand regarding ablet...

Re: Why do you use OctoRex?
Dr octo Rex is amazing for making use of those usually Unused loops Take a “top” loop and run it through a rex Disable loop playback Draw in a pattern using the sequencer. A quick and creative way of making samples into your own thing 👍 Also, using the LFO on the pitch is very quick you can set the ...

Re: No more NDA!
I do believe though that in order to really succeed, Reason Studios will also have to release a plugin rack for free. It is going to be a very tough position to tell developers, please use our SDK to build a plugin that will require a minimum purchase of $99 in order for any plugin to run. They cou...

Come on. Are you serious? They have done next to nothing of significance over the last two major versions. Just very minor additions. Very minor additions?! Are you serious? Let's recount the last two major versions: Reason 10 Five new instruments added to the rack, and two previously paid-for REs ...

Re: No more NDA!
What's really surprising is where does this leave Propellerhead? They have all but abandoned the DAW aspect over recent releases, and are now giving away the RE SDK. What is their long game? Put all development into the plugin? Publishing is not giving away, it does not change anyhing really. This ...

Re: add extra synths to reason 11 intro?
Malstrom is still the GOAT as far as Reason's native devices go, though. It's the only one I would be happy keeping exactly the same when updating it to RE format for a future version (which is going to be necessary sooner or later or there will never be a new UI). Sure, I would be happy if they ad...

More matrix slots per knob
8 is such a tiny number

Re: Complex-1 low adoption rate? I just bought it, did you?
i use mine a lot actually! i just wish they had more oscillator waveforms. seems kinda weird to make a modular synth and not have a ton of waveforms The idea, is to use basic waveforms to create your own waveforms. Right, but Why not use complex waveforms to make even more complex waveforms :)

Re: Complex from Propellerhead
Today was the update to V 1.0.4. Unfortunately, there are no patch notes in sight. This update fixed an obscure bug that could cause the device to crash. Nothing exciting, but more stable. :) Although it would break buchla formatting. It would be nice to see more waveforms/wavetables :) P.s. combin...

Re: List your ideas for "easy" upgrades to current modules
This is a list of features that could be added to current modules, while still maintaining backwards compatibility. I'm sure PH have reasons for not including some of these, but it doesn't hurt to ask. Feel free to add your own ideas. Audiomatic - Add a noise generator output. The Echo - Add CV out...

I thought about that too a while ago. I would get a force immediately. Once my tax return happens, that’s what I’m going to get. Mainly as a sampler/sequencer for my hydrasynth Reason and this setup will be pretty legit, as I can make samples in Reason and perform with the hardware :D Thought about...

Request. akai force Re intergration/mobile RE
so im looking at getting an akai force. iv noticed that the synths inside of it, are very similar to how the Re's work inside of mobile reason. i know that akai and the props have teamed up to sell MPD's how cool would it be, if the mobile synths from reason could work inside of the akai force :D th...

I love the cabling in Reason A fun tip, take a combinator Throw in a line mixer Insert a Thor under the mixer Make a bass patch using some sine based wavetables like random sine 5sines and or fixed sine In the mod matrix set audio input 1 to oscillators 1-3 FM Now hold shift while inserting a malstr...

Re: I am a very happy chap right now........
The Echo is one of the best delays around featurewise and soundwise. It can re-create a lot of delays which are sold separately. Very underrated Delay IMO. Maybe a fancy GUI could have helped. Well said! I love using an LFO on the filter within the delay Or putting a phaser or gate on the feedback ...
