New video up - Creativity 101 - Let Your Instrument Guide You
Oh, and thanks to PeterLansford for the topic. :) Ohhh nice topic! I like the philosophical approach - you could probably do a creativity seminar some day! thanks! it was fun to do. I'd love to get to the point where I could do something like that! I really enjoy helping people, and this is one ...

I guess this is what they dreamed about with discover.
Very neat, guitfnky! You really made something out of it! :) Edit: Actually, I sometimes wish the original part would change either in rhythm or harmonically a bit in some parts of the song... I mean, it all works... And how beautifully... But at times the original "inspiration" might not even be n...

I kind of agree with doinky, in that a lot of the stuff is very unfinished-feeling, but that also makes sense, considering most of the stuff being posted (presumably) is being put there for that very reason. they want someone to do some more work with it. I also agree with KEVMOVE02; the only way i...

Thanks man, I appreciate that. You also just (perhaps unwittingly) gave me an idea for a video.

Will be doing more creativity 'tutorial' vids - need suggestions
Last year was a bit (okay, a lot) crazy. I'd started a series of YouTube videos on creativity, but was forced to focus on "more important" stuff due to, well, life. Now that all that's been sorted out, I'm looking to reboot and start doing videos more regularly again, but I'm not sure where to star...

...putting a wah post-distortion can give it some seriously cool character when done right. you should try it out if you haven't already. Giles was nice enough to build in a fuzz-wah/wah-fuzz ordering switch in the X-Wah (4 parallel wahs with fuzz), and it really shows the difference and the useful...

Softube Guitar Amp RE
I think they're great, honestly. I don't find it difficult to pull some great sounds out of them at all. they take a little getting used to, though. they definitely didn't sound like I was expecting when I first plugged in, but I find the tones to be very warm, natural, and tube-y. I've used Line 6 ...

I was really excited and thinking I should grab this right away until I saw Selig's comments that it might be overly sensitive, and then I was on the fence. then I saw how quickly Ochen K was responding to these suggestions, and I'm back off the fence again. I'll be buying it now.

I demoed Vermilion, and it is fantastic. I upgraded to 8, so now I'm using Amp, and that too is fantastic. they are very different beasts though. the best thing to do would be to try them all and see which one best suits your needs.
