Re: Reason Sample Player Devices produces different Results

The Umpf drums do "something" to the sample - they will cancel against each other (Club vs Retro) but not with others or audio tracks. I believe this has been reported as a bug. Problem is, you don't know if it's 100% a sonic difference, a level difference, or a timing difference. All three will re...

Re: Reason Sample Player Devices produces different Results

I can't find the thread but it has been observed that different devices handle samples differently. Selig wrote in that thread that he askes PH/RS about it, but I don't know what the outcome was. This was a few weeks before R11 was released.. I hope someone else is able to find it. Yes I remember t...

Re: Reason Sample Player Devices produces different Results

There’s no change in the audio file. Kong uses a mini version of NNXT (NN-Nano) to play samples but doesn’t play samples at full volume by default. The velocity is set to 80 rather than 127. Likely that similar occurs with ReDrum and Umpf. I have normalized all bounced Samples, so the volume is not...

Reason Sample Devices produces different Results

Hi All Two weeks ago, I was at a studio from a very experienced and successful producer, mixer and mastering engineer, for an attended session. We talked a lot about technology, analog, digital… and in short, I can tell you use what gives you the best mood! But there was a little hint that attracted...

Re: Which step sequencer for Reason? Launchpad?

I don't think there are. I had no idea they'd released a Launchpad X, but from what i see from the spec you can't set a pad RGB color via sysex (just using their color table) so my codec would not work with it. Perhaps Remanola would? He Catblack, thank you for your feedback. So you meen if i simpl...

I ordered the Launchpad X and want to use it also as a stepsequencer for Redrum. There are some mini and S codecs around. Anybody here who migrated this codecs to the X?

Re: Someone experience with SL Mixface and Reason 10/11?

any controller that does not have motorized fader's and endless encoders are going to make mixing harder then using only a mouse. Because you need to move the fader or encoder to the right position before you can make the changes that you want. You could get an icon or Behringer with motorized fade...

Re: Someone experience with SL Mixface and Reason 10/11?

I do not like the idea of having only 8 channels on my mixing control surface. Surely you can press a button and have your controller take charge of the next 8 channels in your project but there are no labels on the mix channels and annoying mistakes will be made. RsTouch Pro is a way, way better o...

Someone experience with SL Mixface and Reason 10/11?

Because I was looking for a simple MIDI keyboard i found the Studiologic Mixface and they seem to support the Reason Mixer. Does someone have experience with it??? Really would like to hear from someone who is using it with Reason.

Re: Selig ColoringEQ In The Shop!

I bought it on blackfriday, and so far it sounds good, and has a interesting approach. As sayed before by others, I also was very positively surprised how good the saguration sounds. What i found out on the negative side and really need to find a solution for, it is not possible to automate the tune...

Looks interesting, but for me the big question is, if it is possible to control the reson mixer well? Hope someone will test that scenario.

Re: Accapella Question

Reason does the time stretch for you! Simplest way is to slow down the tune to 130 then import the acapella in to your project to a audio track. Now you can adjust the tempo and reason will time stretch your acapella audio. The other way is to stretch the audio clip abd hold shift, then reason will ...

Player Filter for polyphonic MIDI to monophon

Hi You Forum Today i was messing around with Drum Sequence Player to sequence synthesizers. I had the Idea of different notes on each line and give them different lengths (polyrhythm). Some coole results has happened, but there is something i want to control deeper. I want a midi filter, to not play...

Found the company's homepage https://www.propeller.se/ seems nothing to do with Reason Studios. But it might have been a good idea to develop with them the new name and design. :-)

Can confirm the "Preference, Favorites & VST Screenshot" problems, when you update to Reason Suite 11 on a windows 10 computer. Did the installation on a second computer and had the same issue. I really believe that it is because they changed the folder names in the following two locations. The work...

Sample playback seems to be fine, it's the drum modules that change character, specially the decay seems to change with higher sample rate making it shorter at higher sample rates.
You mean, the mini nn-xt sampler in kong is ok? Only the virtual analog drum modules has this behavior?
