Selig is right. Are you putting the amp in the Reason Rack? If so you are hearing the clean signal from the Apollo Twin and the "Amped" version in Reason. I am only trying to distribute the various files that are used on a Reason song into different drives so that I am not relying on any single drive.

The various files used in any Reason project are:
- Application
- Refills
- Samples
- Virtual Instrument Files

I am working remotely with my MacBook M1 Pro and I wanted to make sure my hard drive setup was optimized so that I minimize a crash. I was hoping someone smarter than me here could provide insights on which drive should be the fastest in order of importance based on how Reason works with sound files...

Can I use an SD Card in my laptop as the Cache for Reason files? The SD card I have has a max speed of 97MB/second.

I agree on the need for a Punch in/out feature. I wish Reason had this feature because it provides a good mix between the "automated" player type music writing and live recording of instruments. OK, my audio interface and about 90% of my plugins have confirmed compatibility to Ventura so I updated to Ventura.

So far so good.

Anyone else switch over to Ventura?
My UAD audio interface just confirmed compatibility and the 4 DAWs that I use, including Reason. I think the only thing that has been left are plugins.
