Re: Reveal Sound ReSpire in the shop x $59 !!
Antidote is 139 € (was 169 € before i think?), and IMO can do less than Spire.

Re: Reveal Sound ReSpire in the shop x $59 !!
That said, this is a really, really nice sounding synth. It sounds really "present", very snappy, forward, big and interesting. It has character. I'm not an EDM guy but I find many of the presets really musical and inspiring. Looking forward to the re-release... Exactly. :) Truth! Spire just has "t...

Re: Reveal Sound ReSpire in the shop x $59 !!
I feel kind of bad for bashing this synth earlier in this thread, even though I still feel everything I said was true. It did come off as very negative. Though I have to admit I did feel bad for the people who bought it expecting a fully featured working synth. The price and the hype could easily m...

Re: Reveal Sound ReSpire in the shop x $59 !!
I wouldn't disregard the thought though. At least i could imagine that there's something like that to it. I mean, imagine it. You're working on the RE port of your VST synth for a year now, and suddenly PH comes out that the next version of Reason will support VST. For free, for all customers. At le...

$59 should be the final price for this limite version

Re: Reveal Sound ReSpire in the shop x $59 !!
I'm sure it will be available again soon. I suspect there was some major issue, and Reveal-Sound fixes that now. Wouldn't be the first time. (not that they're bad developers, but, there were one or two updates which broke something majorly, they were quick to fix it though)

Re: Waiting for the VST shills and reps
I do know what both means. I still think, the omnipresence of both of shills is mainly a construct by paranoid people. No offense. And a rep is usually labelled as one. I see quite a few RE developers in these forums BTW. Just saying.

Re: Reaveal Sound ReSpire will be released shortly! Stay tuned!
How about "If i already own the VST, why buy the RE?"? I'd expect it to be similarly priced as the VST, so, that's about $189. Which is quite a lot, if you already have the VST, and consider getting the RE or not.zeebot wrote:Get ready for the incoming 'why buy this when we have the vst' in 3...2...1..

Re: Waiting for the VST shills and reps
BTW, on a (almost) unrelated note, i find this forum quite outstanding in terms of how people deal with each other. I hardly ever visited a forum where there's such a level of respect, and also acceptance of sometimes uncomfortable opinions. I sometimes rant a bit about Reason or RE's too, and reall...

Re: Waiting for the VST shills and reps
One nice thing about Reason having always been a closed format is that we've never had professional spammers hawking their wares around the forums. Sure there's been some community led publicity for Refills and RE's but there's always been something quite quaint and reserved about that and even hel...

Re: Does anyone else think it is a mistake to allow Reason Essentials to support VST?
I was surprised too that Essentials supports VST. IMO, when PH implement VST Midi plugins, you can easily stock up Essentials functionality with an arpeggiator, get the missing phaser in VST form, and also get a more sophisticated delay as the simple one you have in Essentials. Not sure if PH really...

Frankly, i never really had big issues with crashing in DAW's too. They're made with stability in mind, just like any specialized "professional" software.

Re: I'm pretty all the vst-non supporters are secretly supporting the upcoming Reason 9.5 update lol
Admit it...everyone is happy. Why wouldn't you be. This is the best thing to ever happen for Reason. You're right. I must admit i always was an advocate against the implementation of VST, because i thought it'd sort of make the whole Reason platform obsolete, and RE's too. But now, i'm even conside...

Re: Respire video!
It has a nice, spacey sound. Good supersaw, nice "punchiness" with the envelopes, and very musical, and versatile sounding. The resonance behavior of the filters could be a bit better, but the filters themselves have a nice character, and it also has a Virus modelled filter (Infecto) which is pretty...

Re: Access Virus Ti2 with Reason?
Well, point me to the soft synth which sounds like a Virus. I'm not aware of any. But then, i'm not aware of a hardware synth which sounds like Sylenth1 either. Maybe there's a confusion over "sounds alike" and "sounds better". No need to expect hardware snobbery behind every corner, especially when...

Depends on the plugin. Some allow for computer authorization. Some require the actual dongle. USB hub is your friend for these situations. Yeah, was thinking about getting one too recently. I have an eLicenser, and an iLok. Unfortunately blocks 2 USB ports now, and they're also quite wiede, so the ...

Re: VST in reason, effects on the rack extension market?
As REs become as capable as VSTs which is not far off and they have scalable rack etc in reason they'll make it easier to port over and people will sell the RE along with the VST. So you'd get RE, VST and AU versions together when buying in the Reason shop. Maybe for a few quid more. Maybe they cou...

Re: VST in reason, effects on the rack extension market?
We will see. :) Development time and ressources are restricted, especially for small business, which are typical for this business. If a host supports the main plugin format, there may, or may not be much of a reason to support another format. I guess it also largely depends on how this will work ou...
