Yeah, I've always found it confusing as hell as well. One of those areas of Reason that's poorly designed.

It probably won't, as your i5-8250u will throttle after a while. It's not a processor that's designed to run sustained high clock speeds. It cannot get rid of the heat in a laptop chassis.

While everyone is distracted by the device/rack side of things, which has gotten so much attention over the past few years, they're quietly working on the sequencer side of things, which will be a major focus of R11.
