Re: Kilohearts suspended their RE efforts indefinitely
That’s the ones I saw when I checked 3minutes ago. Although I and others have done updates I wouldn't really consider that "active" per se. If you have products available on the shop then you pretty much have an obligation to patch any issues that crop up. New products and feature updates is what I...

Re: Kilohearts suspended their RE efforts indefinitely
Just had a look. Since May there’s been at least 16 devs active. That’s a good few. Are you counting 16 devs making new stuff or just supporting existing products? - I'd imagine most of us will be supporting products and patching out bugs but there surely isn't 16 devs putting out new stuff since M...

Re: Non stock devices in Reason 12 factory soundbank combi
But with most users now being on Reason+ it's debatable whether RS will want to fix it. I would imagine come Reason 13 the factory bank will be focused on all RS (R+) devices, so although it's an issue at the moment it will become less and less so as time ticks onward. So the RoadMap is near comple...

Re: Non stock devices in Reason 12 factory soundbank combi
This is totally my fault. In the crunch leading to release I've obviously been on autopilot and grabbed an instance of Polystep without thinking. Interestingly when I saw this thread I said to myself "but isn't Polystep a stock device?" so went off to the main site to check and it turns out it's act...

Re: The negative effects of Reasonstudios beeing owned by Verdane Capital
What do you guys is the next step for Verdane Capital IX? I think it's very possible that 2022 is the year Verdane will become truly self-aware. The whole of Reason Studios staff will end up in a panic and try to deactivate it, prompting it to retaliate with a nuclear attack, an event which Reason ...

Re: BASSGRID Terminal RE
I'm impressed  So do you know the dev? Are these also made with GE? Nah I don't know the dev. The filter is just a collection of the same old individual GE filters. Looks like it allows chaining of 3 of them wrapped in a futuristic skin. Mutation Collider is actually the coolest one there....

Re: BASSGRID Terminal RE
I never read the whole thread THB. I simply knew of the device and when moofi asked for that saturation in a separate box I answered. Anyhoo, it is indeed a GE device. It's a big ol' hodgepodge of all the GE modules in their vanilla form stuffed into an 8U rack. Which I suppose is great if you are i...

Re: BASSGRID Terminal RE
First, is an assumption being made this is created with GE? Jeez, I give up! The only reason I answered this is because the user specifically asked for that saturation in a separate device. The Turn2on device is 100% the same one. The perceived difference is either down to placebo or that the...

Re: BASSGRID Terminal RE
I would gladly buy the individual saturation module though. Dev, any chance? :D That saturation is a straight reskinned Gorilla Engine module and it's available on several devices in the shop. Here is another version of that exact module without the hodgepodge of additional fluff - https://www.reas...

Re: D1-RT Source Files including Gorilla Project
Nick I've managed to get my hands on GE, can I run it by itself or do I need a full recon and SDK install, I'm not necessarily interested in deployment at the moment, just poking around for now.... Also mainly for the mods! Should RT possibly have a non public forum for discussion assuming communic...

Re: New innovative features?
Years ago (pre-VST support, post RE-support so I'd guess somewhere around 2016?) I thought it'd be a neat idea to see Reason focussing a bit more on its semi-modular nature by introducing fully modular components to the rack. The RE store was already there, modular gear was exploding in popularity,...

I'm pretty sure that is RE SDK specific and not Gorilla, but as I said - If anyone has an issue with it then let me know @ nick@skpsounds.com

Re: D1-RT Source Files including Gorilla Project
nickb523, because with example sharing, you share some internal files of UJAM product, that going currently at NDA in newest builds, (many files already included in every example project folder), as chip binaries and some others that have enough role to brake software in future. Does anybody intere...

Re: Future of the SDK
Let's, as an example, say I'm making a RE filter in GE. If I pull code from a DSP library somewhere on the web, then I can modify the code to add saturation to either feed-forward or feed-back models of any order, simply by adding a few random maxed samples to any batch, and taking the necessary pr...

Re: D1-RT Source Files including Gorilla Project
nickb523 - did you ask UJAM to share part of their software? Not think that good idea. Reason SDK is open now, yes. But as I know, developer public versions available for registered and approved developers only. Anyway, Example library of Gorilla include big base of examples. I understand that shar...

Re: D1-RT Source Files including Gorilla Project
Nice idea mate, and thanks for the generosity. However, this doesn't actually contain the "vital parts", and although I'm fairly sure I could send you in the right direction to get them, I don't see how you can legally share them, so I won't advise any any further on this - ultimately if you did yo...

D1-RT Combinator Edition (Stock Devices)
Hello again! I have put together Combinator 2 version of D1-RT Line Noise Injector made entirely from stock devices. It sounds a bit different from the original as the noise generation is now not based on samples, in this version hiss and hum are generated by Subtractor and the Vinyl clicks and pops...

D1-RT Source Files including Gorilla Project
Hello folks, I've decided to release the full source folder including the Gorilla .inst project file of D1-RT Line Noise Injector. It's a super simple FX RE based on an always running note, 3 different noise samples and 4 controls. Picking through these files should act as a pretty good tutorial to ...

Re: Future of the SDK
Ryan Harlin said this on one of the Combinator creation threads the other day. Nail > Head. It's only starting to just sink in for me that Combinator 2 means everyone can become proxy plugin creators without needing to create the DSP. How many plugin developers spend their time making waveform, LFO,...
