I guess I would find those features exciting if I was only using Reason.

Re: Upgrade now, get R12 later?
Been on R10 for the longest time and today I played with the full R11, and all I gotta say is I feel bad for ya'll who paid $129 for R11 and are now going to pay another $129 for R12. Talk about an underwhelming update, jeeeeeeesus. I thought you were on R11 and had been using the RRP with Logic? N...

PSP's Xenon can be had at JRRSHOP for $24. Supposed to be similar to the L2.

Re: It's A Good Synth Day - Pigments 3 / Model 84
Model 84 is covered in some sort of gooey, retro-ey, analog secret sauce that I don't hear and feel in Arturia's and Tal's. Model 72 is dripping in the same sauce. I'm excited to see what synth they have coming up next. It'll probably be something that's been done to death already (ARP 2600, Prophet...

Re: Could somebody make Softube Model 84 work on Reason 11?
It seems its VST3 only, can't make it work on Reason even using Bluecat patchwork. It shows up in BC Patchwork but it doesn't sound at all. I'm using it in R10 just fine. It's not VST3 only. It definitely gets blurry when you enlarge it. I emailed the Softube guys and they seemed clueless about it....

Re: Eventide H910 Harmonizer worth $42?
Remember that once-in-a-lifetime insane Anthology upgrade from a few years ago where if you had like 3 or 4 eventide plugins (some of which they gave away for free yet they still counted) or whatever it was, you could upgrade to the entire Anthology bundle for like $84 and then another crazy deal af...

Re: It's A Good Synth Day - Pigments 3 / Model 84
Pigments 3 is awesome. Just awesome. Heavier on the CPU, it seems, and I wish there was a way to globally disable the FX like in U-he's synths. What is it that appeals to you in the update? The features or the sound? Both! But more specifically, it's an all-around good Synthwave synth cuz it can do...

Re: It's A Good Synth Day - Pigments 3 / Model 84
It’s better than u-no-lx because?... I don't think this is a better vs worse thing. Both UNO-LX and M84 are great, however, I thought Softube did an amazing job with Model 72 - MAYBE even better than what U-he does. I hate to say this, but M84 sounds more "80s analog" to me. I mean like, that's rea...

The P3 update was painless. Been trying to buy Model 84 all morning but my freaking bank and the Softube website thinks I'm committing fraud. try in PluginBoutique https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/1-Instruments/4-Synth/7550-Model-84-Polyphonic-Synthesizer Yeah, I was thinking about it but on ...

It's A Good Synth Day - Pigments 3 / Model 84
Pigments 3 is free for P2 owners. A strong synth becomes even stronger: https://www.arturia.com/products/analog-classics/pigments#en And Do we need another Juno emulation??? No - but this one might be the best one yet. Softube releases Model 84 - a seriously good looking and sounding emu of the Juno...

I'm not upgrading from R10 to R11 just for hi-res.
So I hope full-blown R12 - with MASSIVE Logic Pro-level enhancements and new features - comes out soon because I am actually looking forward to it.

Re: Maia v2 (paid update)
Good idea, I think the same. I already asked RS to reset the trial on Maia, and today I got a mail that it's done: "all customers who already took a trial should be able to take a new one." Unfortunately I can't check it, because I've already got a beta license on my account, which I can't delete.....

Re: Algoritm Song Competition: The Winners!
Congrats guys and @Hurricane OMG that brass sounds unbelievably realistic, love the 80s vibe! Credit the sound designer on that one because I used the Brass Section patch and I might have simply lowered the reverb a little, but it's such a good brass patch that I didn't have to do anything to it. Re: Algoritm Song Competition: The Winners!
I think some people (or maybe just one guy) are taking the word "song" too literally. The goal of this contest was not to showcase your songwriting prowess and your mastery of the craft of songwriting. This wasn't a songwriting competition. The contest was meant to showcase the Algoritm synthesizer ...

Re: Acustica Cream2 on offer for Plugin-Collective
Ooh sweet! Here's what it is, from this review: https://www.musicradar.com/reviews/acustica-audio-cream Acustica isn’t saying exactly which pieces of vintage British hardware have been sampled in the development stages of Cream, but a quick look at the manual does make it glaringly obvious. The Line...
