Re: i think the prices of REs are going to be going up soon
If this happens due to a big increase in reason users, and is a market driven supply and demand situation, I would be more than happy to pay more. I want this platform to thrive.

Mixfood Remix synth is amazing
This synth came out pretty recently and seemed to fly in under the radar, but I love it. Has anyone else tried it yet? It's a wavetable synth, and it's really well done and the presets are fantastic.

Re: SoundCloud will be shutting down (probably.. or get bought out)
I would gladly pay 20 bucks a month for an account if I could have multiple "bands" under the same account (maybe up to five for a price, then a slight increase for each band account).

Poll - If you could buy a VST in the propellerhead shop, what features would be most important?
Imagine somehow Propellerheads could cut some deals with some VST makers to get their products in the shop. Props could get a small cut of the sale, and the VST maker would get the peace of mind knowing how piracy-proof the Reason environment is. Perhaps some arrangement could be made that satisfies...

Re: VST in reason, effects on the rack extension market?
I really hope there is another shoe to drop. I am sure this will drive sales of reason which is great, but as it is I am concerned about the effect on RE development. I really hope Propellerheads has some followup coming which will blow all our minds. Like fresh set of new players, or even some new ...

Re: Does anyone else think it is a mistake to allow Reason Essentials to support VST?
perhaps they have some faith in the updated RE format and Reason 10 V's its essentials counterpart will have more advantages we've not explored yet. I hope so. As it is right now, it looks like they are just aggressively undercutting the market. Why would anyone pay 600+ dollars for any other DAW w...

Does anyone else think it is a mistake to allow Reason Essentials to support VST?
Up until now, Reason had two big defining traits that made it unique among DAWS- It's workflow and physical rack interface, and the rack extensions. Now that it supports VST, people can just pay 69 dollars and basically have the quality of Reason minus some rack extensions. I worry that a ton of peo...

Re: RE format future
Best case scenario: This change causes a massive spike in the number of Reason users. Many of the new users explore rack extensions and buy the best ones. Sales of the best rack extensions soar. Reason receives widespread acclaim in the industry for its combination of great workflow, top notch excls...

Re: Reason 9.5 – VST in Reason
I'll be honest, I have concerns about this. I've been using Reason since version 1, and back then I would have loved to see VST support. But now the RE ecosystem is really maturing and there are tons of excellent choices. I feel like this may be a shortsighted decision, but I hope I'm wrong. Sure ri...

Re: Blamsoft and eXode VK-2 Viking Synthesizer Song Challenge
Here's my first track for this contest. I spent way too much time on this one, but it was fun. Except for one factory redrum snare, all the sounds are generated by the VK-2. I was really impressed with the variety of sounds that synth is capable of. no response: https://soundcloud.com/hexformes/no-r...

Re: Reason Sound Quality
I find that it is pretty easy to get nice clean/bright sound if you wire directly into the ssl mixer and don't use the reMIX or line mixer. If I have a combinator with a bunch of sounds coming out (like a drumkit where each sound had its own processing) I just add a bunch of mix channels to it and c...

Re: Question about purchasing proton:)
Yes absolutely get it. It ranks up with the Nostromo and Expanse as my personal favorites, based on how much potential there is. It allows for types of sample mangling that the expanse can't really do, and the expanse does lots of stuff that the proton can't, so it's good to have both.

Ok no problem. You had mentioned before that you were going to put out a generated collection for the psq (which I've been really looking forward to because this device has so much amazing potential). It would be nice to have a "randomize everything" button. Still a really neat device though.

Are we going to get a "Lectric Panda generates" collection for this device? I would love to get a setup going and just swap out some different presets of see what kind of interesting results I can get.

This is a great device, I use it all the time. The speed sync would have been my top request, but it looks like you addressed that in this update so I will definitely upgrade.
