Yeah it's with vocals that it's the most problematic. Just won't sit right. Very hard to describe. WIll be too loud one second, adjust and it's too soft. This is exactly why you would use things like a compressor and/or a de-esser. That's with compressors on buddy... That's with constant adjustment...
