Re: Oenkenstein Audio's Rumble Klank Competition - Last day Oct 31

I would like to recommend to the dev to change his intro price to a few days after the results of this competition. Currently "Introduction price until october, 31, 2021." same date this comp closes. I have extended the introduction price of Klank to November, 10, 2021. However, it will take a few ...

Re: Rumble Klank Singing Bowls Generator by Oenkenstein Audio released

I just released an update. Rumble Klank Singing Bowls Generator Rack Extension version 1.4.6. The update is free for current license holders.

The almost chicken egg shaped controls on the convolution reverb and an error in the header on the front panel have been fixed.

Cheers!

Re: Rumble Klank Singing Bowls Generator by Oenkenstein Audio released

Hey Oenkenstein, I'm demoing it now. I have a slight nit-pick .. :puf_wink: the Pre and Decay knobs for the reverb look stretched out slightly, like oval shaped instead of circular. Also feature suggestion: It would be nice if we could independently select different big bowls per Hit/Rub/Drone arti...

If you like the sound of singing bowls have a look at this project https://longplayer.org/ It's only been playing for 20 years! i would like to know / hear examples of these instruments with the release(s) turned down so it plays more like percussion instead of drones especially because the RE is on sale now Updated the demo songs playlist on Soundcloud with a demo with a more 'plucky' sound. The demo has a short release se...

Re: Remotemap for Behringer BCR2000

Hi Oenkenstein, looks like you had put a lot of work into the mappings. Short question about the led-ring-modes mentioned by Catblack: as long as i can see, you make only slightly use of it, do you have plans to use them more often in the future? Or are the BCR/BCF totaly out of your interest? I ha...

Re: Remotemap for Behringer BCR2000

Hey Oenkenstein, great work here. I was looking for stuff for expanding my bcf remote file to work with PX 7, and bumped into this. I have a big remote section for the Lab One Red Queen, which is probably the most intricate EQ in the store. If you want to include it in your BCR2000 remotemap send m...

Re: Rumble K2 Builder by Oenkenstein Audio in the shop

Yes, correct. Rumble K1, although a flagship, just mimics the OS. The orginal waveloops are to short for granular synthesis and I had no clearance on the samples at that moment. So, the project ended with field recordings cut to waveloops. When permission was given, the Rumble K2 serie was build. T...

Re: Rumble K2 Builder by Oenkenstein Audio in the shop

Wait so the K1 does not use the "original" waveforms but otherwise has all the features and more.. I'm a little confused about that. So the K1 is not able to truthfully emulate the original hardware, although it's the flagship? Sorry for asking. Yes, correct. Rumble K1, although a flagship, just mi...

Re: Rumble K2 Builder by Oenkenstein Audio in the shop

Bump. I'm having a hard time understanding the product line-up. Can "Rumble K1 Granular Synthesizer" do everything "Rumble K2 Player" does, plus added granular stuff? Or in other words, what's the best deal here? Yes. Rumble K1 Granular synthesizer can do everything the Rumble K2 Player does. Rumbl...

Re: The Madness is beginning.

Whats the difference in all them Rumble synths ? The similarity is the 'OS' it mimics, taken from a Kawai K1 digital synthesizer from 1985. The differences: Rumble K1: Granular and wavetable combined. 4 Osc synth using the weirdest samples as sound source. Rumble K2 Player: 4 Osc wavetable synth. U...

Re: IDTs are better than you might think!

Aren't IDT's basically romplers ? That's what I always thought. The main purpose of IDT is to build romplers. IDT is a great method to convert Refills into RE's. But it also allows developers making synthesizers based on samples or wave loops and add extra oscillators, modulation routing and effect...

Re: Rumble K2 Builder by Oenkenstein Audio in the shop

The K1 was the my first synthesiser. I'm glad you added a filter. How do you transfer sysex patches? I still have the Kawai K1, also my first synthesizer. It has some broken keys and that was the purpose of making the Rumble K serie. Now that the Rumble serie comes to a end, the Kawai finally can b...

Hi, Today I released a new Rack Extension: Rumble K2 Builder digital synthesizer . Re: Rack extension development kit for everyone

Mmm, can it be compared with max 4 live? With templates? Or is it more coding? That is hard to answer as I do not use or know Max 4 Life, but the developers kit comes with example projects, which can be used as a template. You need to invest time though, to understand the examples. They give an ins...

Re: Rack extension development kit for everyone

it’s great that it’s open for everyone, but it’s much more difficult to do (IMO) than PH suggests. they make it seem like it’s pretty easy to get started with the documentation you’ll have access to. that was definitely not my experience. Does it has some kind of templates? Why is a reversed domain...

Can you send a PM or a reply to this thread with your mapping as a .zip file? Comparing the remote mappings could lead to a solution. Which Rack Extensions do not work with this remotemap? Please note, not all the Rack Extensions from Blamsoft Inc. are mapped in the BCR2000 remotemap. Re: Remotemap for Behringer BCR2000

I've done a bit of digging in the encoded codec, and I have found that Push Encoder 1:1 (and probably the rest of them, there's 4 selectable banks, up to Push Encoder 4:8), have some undocumented Modes that can be set in the remotemap. These don't work with the other encoders (which are 'Single Dot...
