Little LFO (Little IO) missing from the Shop

Not sure if this is old news or just a glitch but I noticed in my account today that Little LFO had the 'No Image Available' next to it and navigating to the product page brings up a 404 error. Also Little IO doesn't show up in the developers drop down list in the store anymore. I'm wondering if any...

FM4 in the shop!

I couldn't find a single reason why I shouldn't get this, so now it's mine... ;)

The bang for buck ratio is well off the end of any previous scale.

Great job by the Devs.

Mind you I think I'm just out of fluid... :)

Space Ambient Refill (work in progress)

Space Ambient has been released today. Updated the initial post. Your welcome ;) I'll tell you the truth I've been looking foward to this far more than the Studio One V3 announcement. I can't wait to crack this open tonight. Thank you very much Edwin (Hydlide) your contributions to the community ar...

Gibson buy Deckadance from Imageline

Dancing at the discoteque is a new and groovy pastime thats bound to catch on. I think they are on a winner with this one imagine, being able to tap your toes to the latest smashes from the hit parade in your very own parlour and be the envy of your friends as you transform into a professional sound...

Real Talk - McDSP Compressors

^^^ Hi Dave nice to see you around.. . :) ^^^ _______________________________________ I just picked up the bundle at €39 for that money they are a complete no brainer. I like to have options with compressors as all of them provide a different way of dealing with different material.  I've never bothe...

Take Care of yourself.

Great thread guys. I think a big part of the solution here is raising awareness and education for those who do not suffer, but are close to those suffering from these "invisible" illnesses. People trivialise the things they don't understand, and so these experiences and feelings you folks are shari...

1+9=10. 10-7=3 In this situation should we but wonder that thou leftest out of thine own self? Blimey, it's clear I wasn't indulging in my need to be 'special' there. Ok so I just watched The Tempest which has clearly left me in a rather Shakespearean frame. Verily, thy florid articulation doth bet...

What are you guys using for reference monitors?

I've got an old pair of Roland MA-15D's which is basically probably just a step up from a pair of manky bundled computer speakers.  They've got nothing at all below about 80Hz there's a nasty bump around 3k, in fact there's nothing about them I could recommend. However I know them like the back of m...

Take Care of yourself.

I just took a friend to a support group for parents with Aspergers kids. There the ladies said that it was getting to the point where 70% of people were being diagnosed with some sort of mental health issue! Hop in a lift with 9 other people and only three of you are left with the confidence to be ...

Take Care of yourself.

Speaking as a lay person that is a sufferer of chronic anxiety and depression I'd just thought I'd mention that it can turn up uninvited at any time for anyone. Whilst a healthy lifestyle is a good recommendation for everyone it would be unwise to hold too firmly to  the idea that your choices have ...

The End Marker

I think I made a similar thread about the end marker a few weeks back, except then I just realised there was no way of navigating to it quickly. http://www.reasontalk.com/post/song-end-marker-7371859 It seems the end marker is to Reason what an ash tray is to a motorcycle, except the motorcycle ash ...

Which one has better value Reason+Rigs $846 or Komplete Ultimate $999

In my case, Reason is the only music production program that keeps me inspired, but it will be cool to use Native Instruments in Reason. So, I go for Reason+Rigs If, like yourself you already have Reason then you'd only buy the bundles you were interested in (if any).  You'd then likely buy Komplet...

Virtual MIDI Cables instead of CV

DIY Method: Use  this on PC or on Mac set up the midi cable natively. Drop an EMI in a combinator that's recieving midi data or connect it via CV, route that to the virtual midi port and setup a generic keyboard device to route that midi port back into reason.  Use several EMI's and Midi cables/gene...

ICON Qcon Lite

Support for iCon stuff seems to be woeful but the products themselves seem to work OK, and they offer some nice bang for the buck, I have a couple of their low end devices which are similar to the Korg Nano series although you are pretty much on your own as far as setting them up goes with anything ...

1000 members, 25,000 posts, in 3 months....Wow.

I just registered. Some might remember me answering tech stuff in the PH forums. (Reused the username, though it was a random choice from early 2005.) Happy to see these forums reach a milestone of sorts. I don't have much time to read and post, as things are really busy at PHQ, but I will try. Hi ...

will an external hard drive help to optimize performance on my pc???

Don`t trust others who say otherwise! External disk will  NOT make your PC run faster.  (Period) If it does, your  internal HD have problems! I beg to differ. An external disk can help performance bottlenecks when you have multiple processes accessing different areas of the same disk simultaneously...

Psychedelic Music

I guess more contemporary approaches could be explored as well as my old hippy view on the subject. My daughter appears in the video for this one (0:53) which is something I still find quite trippy and makes it least a generation ahead of where I'm coming from... :D https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j...

What are some characteristics of psychedelic composition and sound design? It's kind of like asking what determines surrealistic art IOW it will be dependant on the receptive ability or preference of the audience.  I'm not even sure if you could do 'psychedilic' music on purpose I think in all prob...

"As my tears fell on the sly"...OK expression?

I think it's excellent, expressive and creative use of language that probably wouldn't have been thought of by somebody concerned with the utility of conveying meaning in their native tongue.  The sentence as you've written it could have different meanings over and above the original intention yet t...

Got Noxious. Did the song comp. but made a bit of an arse of my response at one stage... (lots of cricket, many ciders). Loved the updates and despite wanting Parsec, knew this was all I could afford for a while. The combinator is my friend... It is pretty samey sounding tho' unless you go extreme....

Exactly, if you recieve unsolicited promotional e-mails then that is by definition 'SPAM', if you've subscribed however it is solicited therefore not spam.

Everything else is just canned meat.
