Downtime
Hi all, Since about 2:40 AM CET, the ReasonTalk database was unaccessible. This means we've had a downtime for about 8 hours. In the process of restoring our services, we had to resort to a backup. The most recent backup is from yesterday (april 15th) at 10:26 AM. Sadly that means that we have lost ...

Re: Ads removed, open for developers!
Sounds really good to me too. Would also be an option to promote own music creations as an ad? There are some pretty good artists in this forum and it would be nice to know when they upload or release something new also through this forum :) I've been tinkering with the idea of automating this, so ...

Ads removed, open for developers!
Hi all, I've decided to remove all ads from the site, now leaving the right sidebar rather empty. The right sidebar will now be reserved for developers wanting to advertise a coming update, a new release or whatever, Free of charge! , as long as it's centered around Reason as a product. Just shoot m...

Re: Big ads *inside* posts
Sorry should've said, I'm using Chrome on a Windows 7 PC. And just to elaborate on that decision: We've never set ads to randomly spawn inside posts or whereever they want. The only post-ads we've ever enabled were the one that spawns after the first post of a page and that's it, so I'll attribute ...

Hi all, We're discontinuing support for the Tapatalk app, effective immediately. There's numerous reasons for this. Our highest priority in the mod and maintenance teams is to keep the site running smoothly on all accounts. Unfortunately, Tapatalks high release cycle often introduces sync issues in ...

Re: Poll: Would you pay for audio hosting as outlined in this post?
Honestly, I can"t imagine myself paying 3-5 dollars for a soundcloud-like storage space when soundcloud is free - especially for 200mb of space but DAW multi-track integration sounds amazing! The 200mb would be free. The $3-$5 would be for increasing the limit. :) In comparison, 200mb would allow f...

As an addition, a subscription fee would be further down the line. The prototype or MVP would be the same as above, just free.

Re: Poll: Would you pay for audio hosting as outlined in this post?
I would probably be too miserly for a storage service. I always missed something from the other platforms that would give me something more, which I really would pay for. Dunno, maybe a radio service where ppl can listen to and vote for tracks. Something which give me a better chance to get listene...

Re: Poll: Would you pay for audio hosting as outlined in this post?
I'll try to keep answers Short. There could easily be a radio Playlist, where people could listen to your music. The kicker here is that you make the decision that your music is public. The local laws about audio and royalties are difficult and kills most streaming services, so it's important that a...

Poll: Would you pay for audio hosting as outlined in this post?
Hi all, I've long been playing around with the idea of an audio hosting service, where the primary focus is to give people a place to store their audio. To begin with, it was more based on personal wants and needs in a service, which turned out to be really simple: I personally don't need a place to...

I just put up my first song for sale on (= I will loose all rights to the song) The website put the price 250 euros (!!!) I mean i have released 20-30 songs on spotify, itunes etc etc... and earned around 70 euros in 5 years. If i sell one song i will earn the same amount as the streaming income fo...

Re: Allihoopa is closing down :(
Isn't there way for people to take care of their own storage, like uploading to a file host such as Google Drive, and making use of that? There definitely is. However, I saw Allihoopa as the perfect platform to easily share your songs, ideas, or vocals for others to use. It was the ease of use that...

Re: Allihoopa is closing down :(
Sad to hear this. Maybe we should consider setting up a server for ReasonTalk for users to drag/drop their wav-exports, if sharing songs and ideas is something people will miss with Allihoopa? Don't make it free or ads based to finance the service if you decide to do it. Then what do you suggest? S...
