Suite was just bad naming. It works for Ableton as there is Standard version with almost no instruments or M4L and Suite gives you those add ons. If you run Authorizer, do you see your RE's names listed in format "rack extension name (hi-res)"? If not then you need to perform Sync All.

I love the new look of ReGroove Mixer. Flat design goes well with transport design as it is technically a tool and not Rack device.

I would investigate in this direction. It could be one of VST plug-ins that is causing your issues.

You can't remote override in most RE's custom screen area which is what those virtual front panel cables are. You need to be in main (non cable) view in Complex-1.
