Which Monitors Should I Go For?
Hi All! Trying to decide between some Mackie Monitor Speakers or PreSonus ones. Which would you go for and why? https://www.presonus.com/products/Eris-E35/tech-specs or https://www.amazon.co.uk/Mackie-CR3-X-Studio-Monitors-Limited/dp/B08GMC6WRX/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=2KJI8V5SEMVXD&keywords=mackie+cr3-x...

And some people are cheeky as f**k and I typed that (not lazily abbreviated it) lol! I did say I've been searching for 2 weeks and previously had to return one. Thanks th...

Blackstar Superfly Amp Power Supply Needed
Hi All! I have a Blackstar Superfly Amp. 12v 2.5amp. I've been trying to get a power supply for it for 2 weeks. For about 18 months now been using batteries. Anyway, I ordered one off Amazon, it was 12v, 3amp but the wrong connection on it. Doh! Had send it back lol! Can anyone link me a cheap (Amaz...

Re: Reason 12 with VST3 Beta has arrived
Would it really break the beta rules to say, "yeah it's going ok for me"? lol!crimsonwarlock wrote: ↑04 Dec 2022Beta testers are not allowed to discuss the beta outside the beta-forum.
Why was this testing called beta originally?

Re: Looking for Indi-GO! Refill
Awesome thanks so much. Man they need to work on their SEO - I searched like 100 different ways for the refill and this page (and PNS) never came up. Thanks again! Yes the search engine in the shop is sh**e a lot of the time. Can't remember what I was searching now but if you don't type it exactly ...

Whether it will happen depends as you say on how many bugs are found and quashed etc but I was informed on a Reason Discord by Mattius they hope to have it out by Christmas.

Re: Sequences 1.4 - With Per-Note Conditions!
So bought Sequences yesterday and the first melody I wanted to do with it required 64 steps lol! I should've realised 32 steps wouldn't be enough. Sorry if this has been mentioned before but is this a limitation of the SDK 'cause you NEED 64 steps. I could see how it could've been implemented with ...

Re: Reason 12 with VST3 Beta has arrived
How long will this Beta last for roughly? What I'm asking is, will it be tested and 12.5 be out before you break up for Christmas? I know it sounds like a tight squeeze and I'm guessing more like mid-late Jan but is 4 weeks do-able? I suppose it depends on how many and how grave bugs are discovered...

Re: Nava 909
Yeah, excuse the pun but that RD9 isn't a patch on the Nava 909. That's true. The RD-9 is much better. You don't have to build it. It's built like a tank. It sounds like a 909. It's way less than half the price of the Nava. You can have one tomorrow. Why make things hard for yourself? :?: You get o...

Re: Chord Sequencer 1.1 update now available
Yeah, they have done in the past (albeit sparingly) with the Dr.Octo.Rex, Europa and Combinator too. ;) Don't forget Beat Map! In Reason 11.3 we added 2 additional maps + preset buttons for common pattern lengths. RV7000 mkII was also a pretty big improvement with the addition of the convolution al...

Yeah, they have done in the past (albeit sparingly) with the Dr.Octo.Rex, Europa and Combinator too. ;) Parsec as well (the original at launch didn’t have a lot of the features that “2.0” has currently, including custom displays). Oh yes and Parsec but I was thinking of native devices. Just thought...

Re: Cleaning a Hardware Mixer
Does anyone know how to get brown packaging tape off a circuit board too? The silly company that delivered it stuck the really sticky brown tape onto the actual circuit board (this for an E-Licktronic Nava 909). Now I've got 80-90% of it off but there's still some on there. Don't want knacker the ci...

Re: Cleaning a Hardware Mixer
WD40 or Goo Gone (tm), but use in moderation. Or stick your own stickers over the top! Good suggestion for the stickers. Goo Gone, will have to look that one up. Guessing it might be an American brand? when I mentioned cotton buds above, I was thinking I should've mentioned the American name of the...

Re: Cleaning a Hardware Mixer
Just cleaned that mixer. Used a slightly dampened bit of kitchen roll at first but when I realised 80% of it was mainly dust, I used cotton buds. Got 90% of it done. I hadn't done it sooner cause I need another couple of bits of hardware before I will need it so probably won't need it till the begin...

Re: Hardware Korg M1 Question
I used to have an M1. Great keyboard. As others have said it's worth getting the VST version. More presents/banks, better filter, easier to use. Though the M1 vst (which I have) sounds brilliant, I am amidst trying to get a fully hardware set up as I think the real hardware sounds a bit better but ...

Re: Hardware Korg M1 Question
Thanks. Sorry about the late reply. Let's see if I'm following this correctly, so basically I can play 4 presets / patches at the same time? You can play 8 presets at the same time, if you're willing to blend some of them on the physical outputs of the M1. For example: Stereo Pad - out 1,2 (L,R) St...

Re: Hardware Korg M1 Question
I had an M3R rather than M1, but found using "combo" which was monotimbral (one part), it sounded great, but using multi-timbrally it was pretty lame. Not only because you lose the layering of combos, but the FX are global (if I remember correctly) and a big part of the sound design. If I had an M1...
