Re: Behringer BCR2000 problems on Win 10

Sounds to me like the Behringer drivers aren't properly installed or used. Windows has internal generic USB-MIDI drivers that somewhat work for the BCR/BCF but cause lots of funny issues. I also have a BCR and BCF working no problem under Win10. It shows as if it has properly installed, coming up a...

Behringer BCR2000 problems on Win 10

Hi, got me a shiny new PC a couple of days ago and everything is cool apart from the fact that my BCR-2000 seems to be having Problems. I installed the latest drivers and got the current firmware but on opening Reason or selecting the Midi Ports in the preferences i get told that the Ports are in us...

Re: Re-Strings

I would love to see props upgrading their servers. Downloading these big REs is a serious pain in the ass when downloads break all the time.

Re: Mixfood ReMix

I just bought and downloaded (took me the whole weekend) and installed it. It loads up, receives midi but i dont get any sound. There is no indication anything comes out of this device?? Edit: had to delete the RE cache after all the borked downloads. Now it works. Nice Sound some presets are CPU he...

Re: To strengthen expansion, Verdane invests in Propellerhead, becoming majority shareholder

I wonder if the VST question will be on the table again now that some outside party has some say or if the RE format is seen as good enough to keep vst out.

Re: Mixfood ReMix

I am impressed how far the IDT has been pushed here. Like the sound, like the price - think its a steal. The only thing that i think is problematic is editing on a global level is not supported, is it? BTW is there list of Remote Items? What do you mean by editing on a global level? I have attached...

Re: To strengthen expansion, Verdane invests in Propellerhead, becoming majority shareholder

Smarter people than I can draw their own conclusions from that. And i hope some people with knowledge of the financial business chime in. What are generally the reasons of such a move ? I am sure experts can read out a lot more out of this. Especially the majority thing is worrying me. EG are we se...

Re: GRID64G by Retouch control!

It is probably a good allround drums sequencing device IF you have a Grid Controller. As a Reason device it doesnt really offer THAT much more options than lets say ReDrum or other Sequencers. It is very lean though and having different individual pattern lengths is cool. But for me it is not enough...

Re: GRID64G by Retouch control!

Good idea for a device! There are some caveheats for me though that make ReDrum more flexible in that usecase. Maybe it can be fixed. Since this device only has 32 Steps, chaining would be a nice thing to have and it actually offers the Scene CV Input for that. But if you use that then you cannot ed...

Re: The Aquios X4 is in the Prop Shop....

I agree I think the criticisms on UI in these forums are rather harsh. The writing needs more contrast and maybe a slightly tighter font. I hate how everyone wants every synth to be similar to one another in design and workflow, but it make sense in terms of efficiency. If you spend a minute or two...

Re: The Aquios X4 is in the Prop Shop....

I havent trialled but first thing i noticed was that the UI is pretty messy and cheesy. The Hydronexus already was cheesy with the insane size of controls for not so spectactular stuff like Delay, Reverb or Distortion suggesting this is something extremely cool or innovative. And the layout of thing...

Re: Remotemap for Behringer BCR2000

Can we actually find the codec file in the Reason Installation somewhere? This thread is about a replacement remotemap. The codec itself is (on windows) in the install directory with the Reason program as one of the old legacy encrypted codecs. There you go, found it, thx. But looks like it is encr...

Re: If you only had one midi controller...

I curently digged out my old bcr2000 and after having searched for a controller with high resolution encoders for ages i realized it was already sitting there getting dust in a corner, lol. Apart from its plastic material it is a very very sophisticated controller. Its encoders feel good and can be ...

Re: Mine Modular MIDI Controller

i found hat a good level of control allways comes with having to dig into the scripts and on a basic Level remote maps are easy to edit but offer immense expandability featurewise. What i found after numerous iterations in how i want to control Reason is that i need max 16 banks of 8 encoders to cov...

Re: Mine Modular MIDI Controller

I also struggle finding the perfect controller. I don´t like paging or banks of controls. This is why I came up with 'grab' on Nektar controllers - it is a way to instantly control the parameter you are looking at on the screen without menu-diving. Using Grab you can take control of any parameter o...

Re: Mine Modular MIDI Controller

For hundreds of dollars, you can get a controller which stores and switches between multiple configurations, and you can see the configurations on a nice big LCD screen e.g. the Nektar Panorama, and DAWs like Reason would be natively supported. That's the entire flexibility of the Mine controller o...

Re: Mine Modular MIDI Controller

For sure premade controllers are cheaper and probably more sturdy but for many people current controllers are allways lacking something and this is the chance to build the controller you allways wanted. At least featurewise. And it is futureproof unless you dont wreck it (which is a valid point). As...

Re: Mine Modular MIDI Controller

Yeah we had a little thread a bit further down. They look great. I am not sure about the pricing and the packages though. I would want lots of encoders and pads and the packages with 16 encoders are pretty expensive. Love the concept though. I was actually waiting for the kickstarter but was a bit d...

Not sure what the last two can do for you concerning controlling Reason?

They both would be great controllers ... if they were programmable.
