I just got emails saying that I've just signed up for the 30 day trial of Reason 9 ... I did not do this. Any idea if this is a marketing thing for older users (on 6.5), or has someone hacked my account? either way I'm not gonna get to use it .. what a waste.

Last time was over a year ago. Deep Reverb when it was on sale. Before that, probably not since they first launched and I never actually use them (except for Deep Reverb!). I'll still keep an eye on new ones, but probably will only buy one if it's on sale, and only in a blue moon.

I wish you could swap out the A-List guitarist RE's for some of the drummer ones. That's the only thing really putting me off the Backline pack.

I guess it's finally happened .. I'm reviving this thread because I've just experienced this "unknown exception" error myself, in v6.5. Opened Reason as normal, jammed on something for almost an hour, recorded the idea, and now exporting and saving gives the error. I can't save or export. Fantastic....

The ability to FREELY vertically zoom in on a wave file (up to full screen). The ability to select multiple faders and move all at once. Yes I'm aware of the buss channels. A new instrument or FX device.

Hmm interesting (and very nice of them) that they didn't save this as a key feature of Reason 10.

that Crapre RE looks interesting if it really does simulate cassette tapes and has spring reverb. Unfortunately it requires me to upgrade Reason :( Are you on R6.5? Never used anything really technical in a live environment (i'm a drummer primarily), but seeing as no one else has any suggestions I'd say you'd need at the very least, an interface with low latency and a laptop. I never want to 'waste' the trial of a RE unless i'm already pretty sure I'd buy it - which most of the time I can't tell until I trial it. This ofcourse leads to never trialling, OR buying RE's. Such is the limited trial model...

I could be wrong, but I don't think buying a new license works like that. I don't think buying the latest version entitles you to all previous versions. I'm on version 6.5 but I'm not looking to sell, sorry!
